Veritas is one of our utmost favorite restaurants Every dish is delicious with unique flavor combinations; Mathis is an absolute genius in the kitchen The service is attentive and friendly, Lucy, Hannah, and Jordan are all so very good. Stephanie and David always make you feel at home, like you’re visiting friends. We can always count on a relaxing and wonderful meal. The Amish chicken and Brussel sprout salad are our favorites but leave room for their cookie dessert…so yummy!!

Really nice experience, food, service, and drinks were awesome!

The atmosphere was great. Outdoor table in full shade, setting sun, mild temperature and comfortable noise level. A perfect Spring evening dinner in St. Louis. I had cioppino which was “ pale”. There were lots of shrimp and some pieces of fish. There were no clams, mussels or crab meat. There was no significant spice flavor. I could see no specks of green indicating basil, thyme or oregano. I did not sense even a hint of garlic. The chef at the table first sniffed then tasted. Her word was “pale”. Everyone else loved their selection of salmon and others had crab cakes. It seemed especially busy in the bar and the kitchen with long wait times for drinks and our meals. Our server got one of three checks correct on the first pass. We have had good food and service in prior visits and will return.

First time here… wish they had a few more tapa menu items but everything was fresh and delicious My spicy margarita was yummy too
