Best Contemporary American Restaurants in West Phoenix

We had a wonderful dinner at Ocotillo! We had a reservation and were promptly seated at a booth in the bar as we'd requested. Maddie took care of us with a perfect Manhattan and Martini. We split an arugula salad, the charred sweet potato and the ribeye. The food was all delicious and the portions are big so plenty of leftovers. We split a bottle of a Mexican red blend that Maddie suggested, and it was perfect! We felt indulgent, so we split the brown butter cake for dessert-luscious indeed. Go!

Elegant dining + attentive service, all in a historic setting. Five-star cuisine at Geordie's (1 of 2 restaurants on the property), where Geordie Hormel (of the Chicago Hormel Ham family) is Executive Chef. Our event included a complimentary Wine Cellar Tour. Sommelier Jason explained their 14,000 bottle collection (largest public cellar in Arizona). Spectacular 270-degree view of the Phoenix Metro scene at sunset! Class Act all the way.
