Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Akron

I had a very nice lunch with my Mother and sister at Terrain Cafe. I ordered the mushroom soup and a salad with plums. The soup was very good but slightly under seasoned. The salad was also good, but I would have liked a more flavorful vinaigrette on it. My favorite thing that I ordered was the Watermelon Spritz refresher beverage that was wonderful. The atmosphere and service were top notch.

Food was great and Sadie and Zach’s musical performance was amazing!

Went for the first time, wanted to experience a nice roof top bar/restaurant. The ambience is nice, the service was good but we ordered the steak and it was awful. The fries tasted better. People say the pizza is good but we didn’t try it. We had the olives with crostini for an app and that was good. The view was nice and the drinks were very good! Would probably try again but maybe order a pizza.

The staff was five star all the way. Friendly, attentive, professional and fun at the same time. Our kudos to the bartender Howard and the new manager. The entire dining experience was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back. BTW, the salmon was great.
