Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Melrose

This was one of the BEST meals I’ve had in my entire life. My table started with the mezze plate and the local burrata which were absolutely delicious, and for my main I got the eggplant parm with zucchini noodles. By far, the best eggplant parm i’ve ever had. The wait staff was very kind and attentive, I will absolutely be a returning customer.

We went to Harvest to celebrate my son’s graduation and it was the perfect celebratory meal! The food was absolutely delicious - we enjoyed the squid ink pasta, gnocchi (the lightest you’ve tasted), potato leek soup, French onion soup and everyone loved what they got. We also tried the haddock (hearty portion that I couldn’t finish), and the rib eye, which were all cooked perfectly. Colleen was our sever and she was perfect - charming and attentive - we never wanted for anything. We sat in the heated back porch which was lovely, and they adjusted the temperature to our liking. I’d go back in a heartbeat and would highly recommend, especially for special occasions.

We always know that we can count on Puritan and Co. for an outstanding meal. It’s one of our favorites to bring guests when they visit Boston.
