Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Hopkinton

We had high hopes after recommendations from friends but were kind of disappointed. Service was excellent. We were a little disappointed in where we sat. There were 2 tables right at the windows but we were sat back against a wall. We thought those tables were for parties of 4 but then a couple was sat and the other table stayed empty. Maybe we should have spoken up. My lobster ravioli was fantastic but my husband’s rack of lamb, ordered medium, came out raw. Our waitress was great and did rectified the problem but I ended up sitting there waiting for his meal to come back, making my dinner lukewarm. Disappointing. $150 for 2 drinks, 1 appetizer and 2 entrees would have been Ok if things were perfect but, needless to say, we were disappointed.

The food was great and our server, Alex was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, personable. Great food and better service.

A delicious meal. Food was great and it's a lovely place to sit and relax.

Our waitress Caroline was a delight. She came by often to check on us and let us know when our orders were a little delayed so we weren't panicking. She also risked her hands trying to close the doors for us when the wind got too strong. We had a great night!

Delightful experience at Stone's yesterday evening. Atmosphere is casual but seriously good food. Deliscious roasted pear salad, steak, & macs-and-cheese. Cheery Irish music filled the space but still allowed for conversation. Charming old-fashioned space is charming is updated with, for example, high tables. Friendly service, prompt.
