Adam's son John is also notable for having built the first reaping machine in Canada. John Elliott sold the property in 1886 and many owners followed. In the late 1980s it was converted from a residence to a restaurant. We are now offering a featured Business Lunch Menu! The food was very good and the ambience is very cozy. They had live music on Thursday night while we were there and it was amazing. Sean Jones with a great voice

It started off rough as the reservation that I made 3 weeks prior and confirmed the day before was not showing up according to the hostess. At first she said sorry we are fully booked, next was an offer to sit at some long bench. I showed my reservation and confirmation she talked with someone and found a table but advised we needed to be out in an hour a half due to another reservation. We were there for a show so not a problem but I was definitely not happy. The table they sat us at was great and the server Sarah was amazing, food was good and will definitely be back just not sure I’ll use OpenTable to make the reservation for a planned event like this dinner was.
