    Fun night at a speakeasy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You need a service appointment rather than a reservation but more importantly you need to give the pass phrase (“Ice cold 7-Up”) to be admitted (through the soda vending machine) next to the front counter. The exit is not the entrance so don’t wait for someone to leave the front. We lucked into 99¢ burger night (Wednesday) - worth every penny. The drinks, shakes, etc. are also fun and surprisingly good. Definitely will return on a warmer evening this year. The only downside was parking; it might as well have been next to a fire hydrant factory - we couldn’t park within a block of the place.

    Romantic, delicious, creative. Moxie is a cozy neighborhood gem of a restaurant with great decor and mood lighting that reminds me of some of my favorite dining in New Orleans years ago. The menu provides several tasty options and an extensive wine list. Cocktails and desserts are definitely worth a try. Service is prompt and friendly. Prices are reasonable and parking is easy. I've been to Moxie many times and plan on many more.
