Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Surprise

Bartenders and our server at our table were very professional and knowledgeable

My strawberry spinach salad was very good, although my favorite is still the kale butternut squash salad that’s on the menu in the fall and winter. Salmon was cooked exactly to my specifications. Friend really enjoyed her chopped chicken salad. 

Tried several dishes, cinnamon roll was great- the breakfast burrito not so much. Potatoes were undercooked and the chorizo was not flavorful. Would not get that again. Breakfast sandwich was alright nothing outstanding. Waitress was wonderful, very attentive kept up with refills etc. location is neat, doesn’t look like they ever get crazily busy so that was nice, restaurant is very cute and the outdoor area is lovely, with misters go summer weather. I do wish the food was better overall, may go back and just have the fam do cinnamon rolls all around honestly Ha!!

I brought my daughter for her birthday and the goal was to give her and amazing experience and that was achieved. It was pretty empty when we walked in at noon. Reservation wasn't needed at all for but west gate as a whole was pretty empty. The food was just ok. For the price, I would have liked the quality to be far better. But again, for the experience. I tried ordering a few things off the menu but a few things were not available. I think there was one other waitress aside from mine so service wasn't as quick as I'd like it to be but totally not her fault. She did the best she could. Even with not a ton of patrons, they could have used a little help. I give it a 4 because my daughter loved the experience and her brothers who joined did as well, but again, for the price, the quality of food needs improvements. The specialty drinks and milkshake were great.
