Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Pelham

Always amazing experience, food and staff are spectacular!

It's a pleasure to encounter a menu that shows real creative imagination and doesn't just offer the same old octopus/burrata/salmon/wagyu menu that so many places fall back on these days. The food isn't exactly cheap, but it's fairly priced, considering that it uses good ingredients and is skillfully prepared and full of flavor. (One quibble: There was far too much garlic in the wild mushroom risotto; Italians very rarely add garlic to risotto, for good reason: it overpowers the creamy richness of the dish.) Service was excellent, too -- attentive but not overbearing, often anticipating our needs. However... We almost walked out of the place as soon as we sat down, and we'll think twice about going back. Why? The screw-you prices on the wine list. The selection is small, just 25 or 30 choices across all categories, and apart from an adequate rosé, the cheapest bottle goes for $115. I have no quarrel with pricey bottles, especially in an affluent community like Greenwich, but these are Michelin-starred New York City prices -- and even those restaurants always offer at least a few good bottles with two-digit price tags.

I recently had an awesome dinner at Casa Mia with four of my buddies, and we had such a great time! The food was absolutely delicious, and our server, Richie, was super friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to go back to Casa Mia again!
