The restaurant is beautiful. Very Instagram-able. Lighting is perfect. Decor is outstanding. The food was incredible. We had a salad, beef short rib pasta dish, mashed potatoes, black truffle pizza, a mocktail, 2 soft drinks, and 2 desserts for less than $200. We expected it to be significantly more and were pleasantly surprised by the price of the food ESPECIALLY for the quality. The freshness and quality of ingredients shine through. Our food server and cannabis server were both so attentive and knowledgeable. Checked in with us the perfect amount of times. I cannot wait to go back.More infoIrie Restaurant & LoungePrice: Expensive• Californian• West Hollywood•5

- LLinneLos Angeles •13 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 2, 2025So, in all fairness, Savta is in its soft opening phase (heavy on the soft, light on the opening), and the food is pretty good, but there is so much confusion around their "rules" and practices which they need to correct to succeed. Let's start with the fact that they don't have their liquor license yet. ("But we'll have it next week! Um, doesn't help us tonight, guys.) This very pertinent fact is *not* mentioned on their website where an entire drinks menu appears. Further and rather curiously, they do not permit you to BYOB. And, apparently, won't allow corkage in the future. Also, they have a complimentary bread basket but you have to know that and ask for it or it is not offered. We were told that, as if it made sense. They do not change out your plates between courses unless, again, you ask for it. Ok, now for the promising aspects. The clams casino (they don't call it that) is very nice. The pomegranate salad is very solid, if a bit overdressed. The pizza, while being a little heavy on the dough, is more good than bad. Several of the servers and the hostess are lovely and trying to help--there was only one server who thought he was working at an established five-star restaurant, who was arrogant and unpleasant. So, yeah, I hope that Savta can get it together because it would be nice to have another decent neighborhood joint .More infoSavtaPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Central Los Angeles•4.5
