Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Roscoe Village

I went as a single and had a great experience. My server was attentive and helpful, the barley bowl with chicken was very tasty, the decor and view are outstanding.

Dined here with a friend on a Tuesday night. They must have been training new staff because it looked like a lot of people were working but it took a long time for a server to come to our table even though the restaurant was pretty empty. When our server acknowledged us he had a shadow/trainee with him. You gotta train staff sometimes, right? Aside from that, our food was absolutely delicious. I had the peanut & tofu curry, my friend had the shrimp salad & we shared a side of perfectly cooked fries. Portions were large but we both finished our meals because it was so good! We will definitely return to this neighborhood gem. The place is small so it’s great that they take reservations.

Easy to book, kind staff, incredible food. Each dish was busting with flavors. The salmon poke was our favorite.

We went on Monday for their 1/2 priced wine special. The entire wine list was 1/2 off. We really enjoyed the food and the service, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. Only complaint would be how loud it was with so many tables close together.

The food is phenomenal and the cocktails are unique and delicious. This is a hidden neighborhood gem that is a must on any foodie’s list
