Parlour St. Paul is a casual diner and craft cocktail bar located blocks from downtown St. Paul and the Xcel Energy Center. Welcome to Masa & Agave, a speakeasy-style cantina hidden below stairs at the historic Hotel Ivy in Downtown Minneapolis. On Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's from 8pm to Close we are first-come, first-served and do not accept reservations during this time.Worshipped as the Aztec gods of fertility and long life, venerated for their powers of sustenance, corn masa and agave have been central to Mexican culture and cuisine since ancient times. Using authentic techniques, we prepare corn masa-based starters and Mexico City-style tacos that are bursting with regional flavors, along with dinner classics like Pork Carnitas and Negro Monelo-Braised Beef Short Ribs. Our collection of 200 agave spirits pays homage to the jimadores and mezcaleros who have labored over their craft for generations.     We had the mussels and two astounding pizzas. The chew of the crust, the flavors, everything blended for a delicious experience. Recommendation: Hang on to the bowl of mussel broth and dip your pizza crust in it.

    If you are looking to make a date night out a little extra special, this spot is the perfect choice! Throw back music with a charmingly intimate setting will bring a smile to your face for sure. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was delicious. Don't forget the drinks! Fun names and an even better taste! They also have NA options which is a breath of fresh air. You still get to feel swanky and special like everyone else without breaking your sobriety to do so, Highly recommend!

    The pacing was terrific, the service was attentive we all enjoyed a great meal. The Chicken Pot Pie ended up getting served a couple of minutes after the others, with apologies that the first came out of the oven slightly overbaked. They soon delivered a phenomenal looking pie, that I am told was delicious.
