Great service from Lily, who was very polite, kind and attentive. Absolutely fabulous food - just delicious and good pricing levels. We were there on a Saturday night and the music was a little loud at 7pm - conversation was a little tricky. Lighting was also very low at our table - we had to use phone torches to see the menu!! Still, a lovely evening meal and a great atmosphere with gorgeous decor.

Loved our experience here, the staff were very helpful with recommendations, and came by whenever a glass was low. Great food options too!! Definitely will be back again

Always a good staple when I’m in Edinburgh- lovely vibe, nice staff and service , decent wine list and a good set meal Combo to choose from with 2 or 3 courses. Personally I liked the haggis balls previously to the more potato content croquet on the menu this time for a more flavourful witty starter Definitely a good place for a meal to enjoy

The Alchemist lunch during the Edinburgh festival was very enjoyable. The serving staff made this a really 5 star experience. The menu had something for everyone. I really enjoyed my filled flat bread. The cocktails were so much fun. Having a fringe venue just at the front door means the Alchemist is the perfect place for an Edinburgh amazing experience.

    My daughter and I had a great afternoon tea yesterday. We were in a beautiful room with stunning views over Princes Street. The service was outstanding. Neither of us eat salmon so we were given extra beef brioche rolls instead. We ate absolutely everything and really enjoyed it. Would recommend. We bought our deal on Itison which is a bit cheaper than the usual price and we thought it was well worth it😊
