Best Chinese Restaurants in Blue Ash

As we have been to Oriental Wok on many occasions, we cannot say enough about this restaurant! The food is always fresh and delicious! The service is always attentive and amazing! Tonight we arrived to celebrate my adult son’s birthday. At the table we enjoyed crab rangoon and potstickers for apps. For supper we had black pepper filet, kung pao chicken, shrimp lo mein and general wongs chicken. All dishes arrived hot, delicious and beautifully presented! We always enjoy a trip to the Oriental Wok where they treat you like family! The food and service are outstanding!

First time here despite driving past the sign my whole life! I am a little picky (read: a complete snob) about Chinese food; my stepmother in California is Chinese & has owned several great restaurants, so I have been spoiled. Oriental Wok offers takeout but is definitely best enjoyed as a dine-in experience. My boyfriend and I loved the decor & ambiance. But the food! It was so great to see more than just the same old Chinese buffet dishes. We tried one of each of the rolls (egg, spring, and shrimp) and they were all fabulous. Beware the spicy mustard…I usually love it but took way too much at first and felt like there was horseradish in my brain (not a complaint, I should have been more careful & it was hilarious). Also shared some hot & sour soup which was flavorful & spicy & truly delightful. For dinner I had the Szechuan Triple & my boyfriend had shrimp pad Thai. The Szechuan sauce was actually spicy, and fabulous! All the meat & veggies were done perfectly. And the pad Thai had thinner noodles than we are used to, but it really worked with the lighter (less sticky) sauce. Neither of us could completely finish our plates, but we didn’t have leftovers. With a Ginger Mojito for me and two Wok Stars (from Rhinegeist), our bill was just under $100 which we consider perfectly fair for one of the best & most surprising meals out we’ve had in a while. The service was friendly and fast from the moment we walked in the door, I forgot to mention that earlier!
