First off have to say service was great. Regardless what the food tastes like, bad service will ruin it. Started with the beef tartare. Really liked the texture of the crispy taro. Different than the toasted bread that is usually served with it. Really nitpicking to say that the dressing became a little too salty towards the end. For the main, went with the arctic char since already had a burger for lunch and looking for something lighter. Otherwise would have ordered the duck. The meat was prepared medium rare and definitely did melt in your mouth as the waitress said. The asparagus and the potatoes were perfect compliments as was the leek veloute. Would definitely go back. If not for the char then for their signature burger.

Delicious food, small space, great value for the food quality

Booked a reservation for our 10th wedding anniversary and we are so glad we chose Alo! We were welcomed warmly by the staff and overall made our celebration extra special. Our full course meal was just amazing and super delicious. Definitely an experience to remember!
