- JJOHNNIELos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMirella was our server, and she made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing afternoon lunch. We had a great table location between the tent and the original Disney Bandstand. The fruit & cheese tray was very tasty, with 3 different cheeses and 5 different fruits. The jam and butter with the bread was excellent. We ordered the short ribs small plate and it was awesome. We both were nearly full after this, but we ordered the big plate dish anyway. My Wife had the Jidori Chicken, which was incredibly juicy and well seasoned. I had the butternut squash which I did not like at all, as it the entire dish tasted like the pickled vegetable included in the bowl. We moved onto dessert from there, and my Wife had a latte. I rdered the Apple Crisp, and the brown sugar and oats were an perfect match with the tany apples. Vanilla bean ice cream topped the crisp and it was delicious. Mirella very kindly removed the charge for the butternut squash from our bill, which we were not expecting. Just one more reason to go back to Roger's Farmhouse for a really nice meal on a Sunday afternoon.More infoFarmhouse at Rogers GardensPrice: Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.8
- MMarkLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI’ve been a patron of this restaurant for 25 years, experienced many staff, chef changes, renovations, changes to the menu, my past visit was honestly one of my absolute favorite. The last time I visited this restaurant was 2019, just before Covid for Mother’s Day brunch. Now, the prefix brunch is much better. The taste and presentation of the food is great! There were times in the past where the food experience would lack, but you would write it off as you were paying for the view. Now, you’re paying for good food with a side of the view depending where you’re seated. Highly recommended lobster enchiladas, very tasty, not over cooked or rubbery. Also recommend salmon Benedict. Hollandaise sauce is scratch made, perfect pairing with the brisket, which is not chewy, but crisp, pulls apart well, slight crunch but not overpowering, and a poached egg that is still runny and oozes once broken by your fork. The salmon topping this dish tasted fresh and flavorful, which incorporated nicely into the meal. For desert they offer flan or sorbet, choose the sorbet, its flavor, composition and presentation were perfect, light but yet packed full of flavor; coconut, mango and pineapple. Get there early on a Sunday, request a window seat and relax with great company and an amazing brunch. Was seated at the table for 2 hours and we never felt rushed, however we were there early. Good eating Cheers!!More infoLas BrisasPrice: Moderate• Californian• Laguna Beach•4.2
- SSeanOrange County •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoRise is a fun and trendy spot for drinks and/or food. The service was very good and you can ever see the Disneyland fireworks at the right time of night. The prices are on the higher side, so as long as you know that going in, you should be fine. My party got a variety of appetizers, and the only one I'd advise against is the queso fundido. (the flavor was a bit lacking, and the chips are not strong enough if the cheese gets even a little cold) Other than that, the fries, chicken tacos, flat breads pizzas, even the sushi-- all great! Even their take on a caprese salad was unique and delicious.More infoRise Rooftop LoungePrice: Expensive• Californian• Anaheim•4.7
