We weren't made aware you had to order at the counter so waited a while and no-ne serving told us this as they were passing even though we were seated and when plates were taken away or delivered no-one asked if we wanted anything else even as a reminder to go to the counter so we didn't order anything else.

Shame the pizza oven was not working meaning about half menu was not available . Literally only people in there so not much atmosphere . Staff were great and very attentive.

I normally give Bear 5 stars but unfortunately on this occasion I’ve knocked a couple of stars off as the food that I ordered wasn’t available. I wanted the fruit pancakes and we’d gone in specifically to have pancakes so it was annoying that they weren’t available. The only ones available were chicken and bacon, so no good for me being a vegetarian.
