Always have the best experiences at Shy Bird! Great service and food!

First visit to this newish French Bistro. The ambiance is pleasantly that of a classic French bistro, including the Citroen parked out front, and the music choice was good and did not overpower conversation. The spicy watermelon Margherita was a good choice, as was the pot-au-feu and the escargots (which I find taste like re-chewed gum in many restaurants). The moules-frites were excellent. Like other diners who've written reviews, we mixed one prix-fixe with a main course choice, sharing the appetizer and the dessert. This worked out perfectly. It was an also a delight to find our American waitress was fluent in French. Nice touch!

This is my second visit to this restaurant. The food was amazing, and the service was absolutely good. Everyone has been trained in how to take care of customers. The environment of the place was made for having a great conversation with friends, I did enjoy the time with my friend. I will come back to continue enjoying the food and drinks. Overall, it was a good experience. The portion sizes were small. I would rate the steak and eggs plate an 8/10; the eggs were a bit too wet, but the potatoes and steak were excellent. The veggie omelette was tasty, although it could have been seasoned a bit more, so I’ll give it an 8/10 as well. The stuffed French toast was enjoyable and deserves an 8/10. Finally, the espresso martini was outstanding, so I rate it a 10/10.
