- AAlecLondon •1 review4.0Dined on Jun 14, 2025Beautiful setting for a hotel/restaurant, worth a visit for that alone. Very peaceful by the sitting by the stream. Hotel is situated in a lovely little hamlet. Inside the restaurant, the ambience was lovely, staff all very friendly. The food was very tasty but slightly expensive for what it was.More infoMinster Mill Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• British• Witney•3.5
- DDebbieLondon •22 reviews4.0Dined on May 19, 2025The Fleece overlooks the green in the heart of beautiful Witney. Parking was plentiful and the perfect place to stop for a stroll around the shops too. Greeted by a warm welcome, we were shown to our table and served by James, who couldn’t have provided a better service. I chose from the specials board, Asparagus to start then the delightful Monkfish, cooked in paper to retain the juices and sitting proudly on a bed of mussels, olives and sweet tiny tomatoes. My Husband, the birthday boy, had crab and then the succulent rolled Pork Belly. All the food was delicious, served promptly accompanied with a very tasty cocktail. No room for pudding. Sadly, the Fleece is about two hours drive away for us because we would undoubtedly return regularly. If you are in the area, don’t miss this opportunity. We loved it.More infoThe Fleece WitneyPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Witney•4.5
