The Farmhouse at Redcoats is a beautiful 15th century farmhouse nestled in the north Hertfordshire countryside. Sherwin Jacobs heads the kitchen and delivers quality, fresh, local produce, much of which is grown in the no-dig garden and onsite polytunnel. Feast over fire events, pop-up BBQs and supper club events litter the calendar. The food is award-winning - Best Premium Food, Good Food Guide, Food Made Good Award, 2 star rosette kitchen etc. Private dining is available across several charismatic rooms in the main house - The Old Kitchen, The Victorian Room and The Oak Room. There are 24 rooms available and the Barns venue across the courtyard is regarded as one of the best wedding venues in the country, regularly winning awards.     Really enjoyed our afternoon tea at The George. Food was excellent, all the staff where very friendly and helpful and all enjoyed in the lovely ambience of the conservatory area. Will definitely be dining here again.

    My son has attended university in Cambridge and we have visited him often walking through Parker’s Park we would talk about going To Parkers Tavern for his Graduation meal and it exceeded our expectations and made a beautiful day even more perfect, the staff were attentive, the food was excellent, could not fault it

    Absolutely the best food I have ever eaten...again! Incredible chefs creating sensational food that never disappoints. The dining area was a little noisy with young families, but that's the only criticism of an otherwise amazing meal out.
