Small menu but food was good. Great beer selection. My husband and I each did a flight. Food was surprisingly good and attentive service. Not crowded. It’s in the basement so away from all the crowds.

We visited Northern Maverick Brewery to catch a Stanley Cup Finals playoff game with the family, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. The food hit the mark across the board. We ordered wings, calamari, and pizzas for the kids, and everything came out hot and well-prepared. The popcorn was a surprisingly great touch, too. The atmosphere is lively but comfortable, with great screens throughout the space—perfect for watching the game without missing a moment. I’d describe the menu as upscale pub fare, executed really well. It strikes a nice balance between casual and refined. Overall, a great spot for food, drinks, and sports with family or friends. We’ll definitely be back!

Taberna aka Tavern / Pub is an elevated casual experience. Its menu represents food from countries around the Mediterranean and we thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Bass Ceviche and the burgers with their in house beer. It’s our first time at Taberna but we have plans to return, also great service and ambiance with beautiful art. Congrats to the owners for creating a unique experience.

This is a great spot for dinner/drinks especially if you have tickets to the theater. Was busy for a Wednesday but with reservations you have a seat!!! A little difficult to have a conversation as the noise level was extreme. Food and drinks were great, service was fabulous. This was my second time and will be back!!!

Great casual atmosphere. Good food and service. Fabulous location. Usually live music on Friday evenings but preempted my NHL playoffs this evening. Fish and chips is good but greasy. Of course hard to please a Newfoundlander when it comes to fish. Food was hot.. nachos were amazing! Overall great experience and kid friendly!
