Loudons Café & Bakery serves Scottish and continental delicacies from its location at 94B Fountainbridge. Burgers, quiche, soup and pancakes, as well as a vast selection of cakes feature on a menu where most items are made on site and ingredients are locally sourced. The large centrally located cafe is child-friendly and has outdoor seating and free wi-fi and house an in-house bakery downstairs. Loudon's is about ten minutes’ walk away from Haymarket Railway Station, and a sixteen minute walk from the historic Edinburgh Castle.

We have gone on to build a local success story brand that gives people a ‘hug when they walk in the door’ as the original café has since doubled in size and the business has gained five more shops, a successful website selling cakes online and a concession at Archerfield Walled Garden. We also opened an industrial bakery in March 2020, out of which most online trade is produced for fulfilment. Mimi’s Bakehouse has become one of Edinburgh’s best-loved bakeries and an award-winning brand which is a well-known “feel good” place to visit, while remaining small enough to go the extra mile and try new things.We serve brunch, afternoon tea, coffee and cake.

At Coro we believe chocolate should be a fun and sharing experience. We don’t claim to be master chocolatiers, in fact its quite the opposite. Our aim is to give customers their chocolate fix but not just from your standard bar of chocolate. We pour our Belgian chocolate over freshly made pancakes, into our buttery crepes and drizzled over our fluffy waffles. If thats not enough we’ll give you a fondue to dunk some fresh fruit, cake or sweets into melted chocolate with a hot chocolate like no other to wash it all down.

    Un vrai coup de cœur ! Accueil chaleureux dès l’entrée, avec un personnel attentionné et à l’écoute tout au long du repas. Les plats sont non seulement copieux et gourmands, mais aussi superbement présentés – un vrai régal pour les yeux et les papilles ! Une belle adresse à Édimbourg que je recommande sans hésiter.

    Le cadre est sympa. Les plats sont bien présentés et copieux. Nous avons testé le bar et le suprême de poulet. Nous n avons pas été déçus, ni des desserts d ailleurs.

    Très bonne expérience de brunch. La nourriture était excellente, les serveurs très sympathiques. En revanche il faisait assez froid dans l’enceinte de l’établissement et les toilettes étaient sales dès le matin (ce qui est de la responsabilité des clients nous le savons bien mais un nettoyage matinal aurait été apprécié) Recommandé tout de même car la nourriture et le personnel étaient au top !
