Populairste bistro's in Bootle

Really enjoyed our lunch at Sticky Walnut. We had the main menu. Starters (beetroot arancini and hispi cabbage were fab, mains (confit duck and chicken escalope) pretty good. Lovely ambience nice and quiet no loud music so we could talk at a normal volume. Service was excellent and they were quite busy. Thinking of trying the sister-restaurants in Manchester next.

This is a really nice restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are very welcoming.

The food was really good, but there was one thing I didn’t like. I tried to order from the children’s menu (which I had done before at another Côte), but the waitress informed me that I couldn’t order from that menu because it is only for children under 12. I found this a little unfair, as I don’t eat much, and the options on the kids' menu suit me better. I don’t understand why different Côte locations have different policies, but I believe customers should be allowed to order what they want regardless of their age. Alternatively, they could charge a bit more if an adult orders from the kids' menu. Overall, my food was good, and the service was satisfactory.
