Voluntarily in prison? The slightly different restaurant in Berlin-Lichterfelde in the former women's prison offers an elegant indoor dining room as well as high tables in the lounge. Update: Thank you to restaurant for accepting honest review and criticism, we love coming back to Schildkroete and we will be back for sure. It is a great place to hang out with a good company, food is great, portions are huge, only remark would be: 1. Service staff seems stiff at times and quite pushy to order as soon as you are given the menu, we asked to give us 2 minutes to read the menu but that 2 minutes was 20 seconds at most and we were told our booking is for 1,5 hours only so we need to leave before then, which I did not find info while making the booking. 2. They become quite aggressive if you say payment is by card, and instantly become extremely polite if you are paying in cash (observed in 5-6 visits over the years)
