Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

    We had a booking for 7 from nearby workplace. Everyone really enjoyed the venue and were keen to return for future work dinners and make it our “regular”. Staff were attentive, informative and generally just lovely. Food was beautiful. We would highly recommend your venue to others. Thank you for your hospitality.

    We were warmly greeted and shown to our table which was in a corner at the window which is perfect for us. The waitress was awesome and efficient and we got our drinks and ordered lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and on point. Loved every moment of it. Really good quality food.

    Incredibly welcoming, great vibe, moody lighting and music. Service was so so excellent, our water glasses were never empty! Attentive to special requests and sensory accommodations. Mains came out perfectly after entrees, leave enough time for the crumble (20-30 mins), and the thyme custard cake was divine.
