Best Asian Restaurants in Woolloomooloo

Revisited again for their new Degustation menu. First serving of pate only got 2 pieces of toast for 1 person, one-extra piece would be perfect to finish all pate. The beef steak had too much fat, we could not eat 3 slices cut from one end. Otherwise, it is perfectly cooked at medium rare. Hope these is alternative of sauce for people who don't like coconut milk (actually who do not!?). Dessert was average, not much surprises. The remarkable one must order is on the special menu - truffle beef tartare! Big enough to share for 2! Mild spicy with strong truffle taste! Had a complimentary 1/2 lobster served with gift card minimum $200 used - perfectly cooked with truffle seasoning! Last but not least, my all-time must have cocktail Mr Darlo (Thai milk-tea with Vodka)!!!! OR non-alcoholic option of authentic Thai milk tea!! Service was always the best!

Great atmosphere - choice of cocktails definitely complements the food - sangria was amazing. For starters we had mixed dumplings and wasabi prawns. Both were big serves and full of flavour. Full duck was plenty for 4 people - lots of pancakes and condiments. Would recommend for food, value, service and vibe.

I am a great fan of Neil Perry and I realised this may be the last chance to savour his excellent asian cuisine at Songbird before it closes. It was great - the food, the service, and all were outstanding. The wine suggestions by the wait staff were excellent. I hope the new venture works out well

Had a great experience at MOD Dining! The food was absolutely delicious — the crispy fried eggplant was definitely the highlight for me. Seriously, if you go, get the eggplant. Our waiter was super attentive and just a really cool person overall, which made the whole vibe even better. The restaurant itself has a beautiful atmosphere — stylish but still really comfortable. Highly recommend dining here if you’re looking for a great meal and nice vibe.

Food was divine (be sure to order a lot — maybe around 7 small plates because the portions are small), and the service was super friendly. Ambience was very relaxed but romantic (good for dates!). Fantastic all around. The steak, potato pave, and duck are mindblowing. I could’ve had just ordered 2-3 servings each of those three things and died happy.
