Best Asian Restaurants in North of Foster / Rogers Park

Food was amazing! Service was great and I loved the decor. DO NOT PASS ON THE BANANA DUMPLINGS!

This is an outstanding French-Vietnamese restaurant. The food is superb. My wife said that it's her favorite restaurant anywhere :) I must agree with her. Their Sup Gà Cay (spicy chicken soup) is delicious - I would be glad to eat it every day. We have been trying different main courses over the few times we have been to this restaurant and have liked them all. This time we both had branzino - it was delicious and beautifully presented. We are not food-photo-posting-on-social-media people, but we take photos of their food for ourselves. It's nice when the phone pops it up on an anniversary of our visit :) The service is also great - our waiter and his assistant made us feel very welcome. One thing that I would change - the walls are decorated with many historic photos of the colonial period in Vietnam. They look insensitive to me. I understand that this matches the name of the restaurant, but these photos make me feel like the restaurant is celebrating the time of colonialism. So, everything that concerns the food, presentation, service, and comfort is perfect, and there is no noise - which is very important if you want to hold a conversation with your party. I would just remove the old photos from the walls.

The food was great. The staff was awesome. I didn’t have to wait too long. The atmosphere was very good for my Instagram. I would’ve eaten more, but I didn’t wanna spoil the experience by walking out too stuffed. Strangely, everyone there was extremely beautiful too.

Tried the burger, Chinese Broccoli, wings and steak. Everything was delicious.

Food was interesting and very tasty. Presentation was appetizing and the service was excellent. This was our first experience eating Cambodian cuisine and we will definitely return as there were many other items on the menu that we would like to try.
