Simply spectacular! The staff was very kind and took care of us throughout the evening. The food was 10/10 and the atmosphere was beautiful

This was one of the best meals we have had in London. As former Londoners, we know the food scene well in London and had never heard of 104 until some friends mentioned it. We were lucky enough to secure a table for four and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The foie gras terrine was so soft and buttery the chef, who you can see preparing everything from behind a glass, used a blow torch to heat the knife to better cut the terrine. We all had the John Dory which came out perfectly cooked w roasted spring onions, a hollandaise foam and sublime potato puree. Dessert of strawberry soufflé was not to be missed. The restaurant is tiny and only employs the chef and a front of the house very gracious server. The menu is prix fix at roughly £100 and the wine list had some grate accessible wines. Chef had no problem accommodating a celiac and served up the best country white gluten free bread we had ever had. Chef came out to meet us at the end of our meal which we always appreciate. I cannot say enough about this hidden gem. Go soon before he becomes too famous!

Food was good but on the pricer side, food came quickly

It was pretty quiet but that wasn't surprising, as we'd booked for 2pm. We were a bit disappointed that the Prix Fixe menu wasn't available but what we all had from the main menu was very good. We particularly appreciated that one of our party of 4 wanted to have extra gravy with her dish, and the staff were very helpful in providing that. Many thanks.

Had a fantastic meal at Chet’s, a Thai-Americana gem in Shepherd’s Bush that blends the bold, smoky flavors of Southeast Asia with the nostalgic comforts of a classic American diner. I went for the BBQ Rice Bowl with Grilled Aubergine (£12)—a deliciously smoky, well-balanced dish that really hit the spot. My friend had the Tuna Melt (£16), and wow, this wasn’t your standard sandwich! The tuna larb filling, packed with mint, coriander, red onion, and Kewpie mayo, was next-level. Add melted American cheese and a crispy, golden bread exterior, and it’s easily one of the best tuna melts I’ve tried. The coffee was great, rounding out the meal nicely, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the crisps on the side—just a personal preference. Overall, a fantastic spot with unique flavors, a cool vibe, and well-executed dishes. Would I return? Absolutely.
