- JJerryNew York City •16 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoThere were 4 of us, everyone ordered something different and everyone enjoyed what they ate. The specialty mojito was especially good! As was the corned beef eggroll! Gabriella was our server and she was great. And 2 other gentlemen (owners? managers?) stopped by to check on us and our food and they were terrific! - PPhilVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •21 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 9, 2025Another superb evening of fine Chinese dining.... ShiangMI is probably one of the nicest authentic Chinese restaurants in the Midwest. We had pan fried dumplings, roast duck (2 courses, relatively new add to the menu), happy family soup, pork belly stew, mongolian beef and general tao's chicken.. Every course was excellent. However, the timing of when courses are served can use some improvement... I did confirm that dumplings will come out first, then the soup, then the 2 duck courses then the rest.... but it happened quite in reverse where soup came out last, duck courses came out 2nd to last... A bit frustrating and hopefully, the kitchen can improve upon it. The reason for understanding course sequence is we were doing a wine pairing... Oh well.. First world problems.... We will definitely be back !More infoShiangMiPrice: Expensive• Chinese• Farmington Hills•4.4
