- CChristopherVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 13, 2025Highly recommend as it’s a top 5 restaurant in NYC in my book. One of the only places in NY to have a killer pasta menu and steak menu. Highly recommend the empanadas, Fettuccini with argentine langoustines in pink sauce, and one of the steaks, ideally their skirt steaks with grilled onions and peppers. Chimichurri with the bread tops it all off.More infoBuenos AiresPrice: Moderate• Argentinean• East Village•4.8
- JJimNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined on May 25, 2025I’m sure I tend to repeat myself, but I can’t help it- I love this restaurant! The food was yet again perfectly prepared. The attention to detail was impeccable. I highly recommend the sweetbreads- perfectly crisped on the outside, and tender and moist on the inside. The service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. This is my favorite restaurant in New York. My guest from out of town was impressed with every dish, maybe I should say overjoyed. And he lived in NYC for 25 years. This was another great experience at Balvanera, on every level. I can’t wait for my next chance to enjoy a meal there, so I already set up another reservation.More infoBalvanera - NYCPrice: Expensive• Argentinean• Lower East Side•5
