The Club Tavern and Grill was originally The Grantree Restaurant when three men from Conrad, Montana purchased it in 1985. The Felska’s and the Solvie’s came to Bozeman motivated by the prospect of building or buying a Conference Center.They discovered that the Ramada Inn, (hotel, restaurant, and conference center) was in bankruptcy so they purchased the business. Once a dark 70’s style bar and casual dining restaurant, it also featured a fine dining area.In 1999, The Grantree Restaurant was revised and remodeled to give it a more casual Montana feel.In 2008, the Partners decided to change the name and again do a remodel with more of an upscale sport’s bar style hence creating what today is The Club Tavern and Grill, Bozeman’s Upscale Sport’s Bar with 20 TVs, a Casino, Full Bar, and Sports packages. Please note vegetarian requests on your reservation. Please park in the front parking lot + walk straight up the blueberry fields to get to our table.     I had been to Open Range before and had good experiences. This last dining experience though was not as good. My husbands ribeye steak was full of gristle- not just fat but gristle. Wait staff was very nice to take the price of the steak off our bill. Our sons steak and fries and his friends steak and fries weren’t up to the value of the cost either. Dining out is too pricey these days to accept anything but amazing. I had the pork and French onion soup and those were very good! Live entertainment was there 5-7 and she was great!

    We had a great time, and the food was great! It’s a little pricey but they use a good range of ingredients and the flavors are incredible. Our server was also great, and worked with us regarding food allergies. Would go back!

    Chicken Vesuvio was fantastic, also try the bison meatballs they are great . Cocktails were pretty good too. Restaurant is attached to the Kimpton Armory Hotel. Overall good was outstanding

    Matthew is an awesome waiter, attentive, communicates well, knows the menu and is upbeat. Food is awesome - great variety and delish. Atmosphere is fun and comfortable. Recommend easily.
