Really impressed with my meal at Eldo Chop House. Had a nice date night and it was the perfect environment. Large open bar space in the front looked inviting but our table was in the main dining hall. We started with the grilled octopus and nigiri bites and they were both fantastic. The king salmon was a real treat. We split a wedge salad and it was great. For our entrees we shared the filet mignon and the day boat scallops. I recommend them both. The filet was very traditional with asparagus and mashed potatoes on a fantastic semi glacé. The scallops were a playful dish in an amazing green curry sauce. The chicharrones were a really nice touch. Finished with the butter cake. I’d recommend everything and probably do the exact same order again next time. Great for dates or family dinners.

I love this new restaurant, mostly for the panoramic view of the American river…the food is California cuisine, with nice portions…their Gumbo and Jambalaya are to die for, very Cajun inspired and delicious…there is a wait at dinner time but lunch time you’re in and out pretty quickly …come enjoy the food and the view!!

Food was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Would recommend highly.

Our first time there and had a great time! Will be back!!
