Professional, polite, attentive wait staff. Rainbow trout was delicious. I've never had a bad meal. Recommend

My good friend and I come monthly for our get together to relax and catch up. Our server was great today—we appreciate not being rushed! The food was excellent and just how we ordered it. Always a pleasure to come here!

Our server was excellent! Bubbly and fun, we asked her to take a picture of us (my friend and I don't get together often) and she did photographer quality! The food was good - I had the all-American breakfast and I wanted my eggs scrambled well. They were good, but a little too soft. Bacon was good, but one piece was charred, not cooked. The green juice drink was excellent!

Visited Charter House after seeing new CLE restaurants on Yelp. It's a very friendly, locally run establishment, with an emphasis on service and attentiveness. Some really nice items on the menu with reasonable pricing. I had the snapper with creole sauce that was outstanding. My wife had the short ribs which were fall-off-the-bone tender. All the dishes were accompanied with veggies and starch. The printed beer list only listed more generic beers, but our server, David, threw out quite a few craft options not listed, that fit the bill. All in all, it was a very satisfying dinner with friends. It's a newer restaurant so they are trying hard to make you feel at home... nice!

The service and atmosphere are impeccable, although it is loud on a busy Saturday night. The roomy, plush seating is reminiscent of a high-end 1950’s Vegas steakhouse, and so nice in a time where so many other places have you practically sitting next to strangers. We ordered the Smashing Dan Dan dumplings for an appetizer. They were delicious, but tiny. We were hoping that wasn’t a sign of things to come, since we came hungry. It absolutely was not! My son had the Wagyu ribeye with chimichurri sauce, which was not only huge, but divine. It was expensive, of course, but he said it was the best meal he ever had! Husband ordered the whole Maine lobster mac and cheese, which was absolutely delicious; rich and creamy, and filled with sweet lobster. I had the duck two ways. The breast was so good; perfectly cooked and plentiful, and the eggplant and baby bok choy accompaniments were very nice. The crispy duck leg was a little dry and over-cooked, however. It was my husband’s birthday and he splurged on a couple tableside-prepared old-fashioneds. The presentation, by the bar manager, was as fabulous as the drink itself. We capped the night with the tableside presented bananas foster. Just delightful. The rum cakes made it the best bananas foster I’ve had. Our server couldn’t have been better. He was attentive, knowledgeable and very professional. We felt pampered throughout the night! All in all, we really loved it and will definitely be back.
