Best American Restaurants in E. Kansas City

Host was a bit abrupt and not too welcoming. More consumed with heads down and functional part of job than being the first face of the restaurant. Not completely off putting, but not warm as you’d hope. Server was good and had good follow up but again not super warm or welcoming. Food is always good. Ambiance is always excellent.

Such a pretty place during the holidays! The food was very good, the atmosphere was so fun. The pressed chicken was outstanding. My family enjoyed shrimp and grits, burnt ends mac n cheese, and chicken and waffles. Just an overall delicious meal in a lovely setting.

We had the best dinner. It was a super busy Friday night, and we waited a little extra time for our reservation. Once seated we had the best experience. Our waiter, Jonah was on top of it all. Great food, fun atmosphere, and a super drink selection.

We had blue point oysters, fish and chips, shrimp scampi and bone in rib eye. All were hot, fresh and delivered in a timely manner. Our server was very nice and attentive. Pricing was what we expected. My only complaint was our cocktails had too much ice and were watered down. We will definitely return, it is one of our favorites.

They seated us quickly, and were so polite! Service was amazing, Jason knew our every need and approached and handled everything with the utmost professionalism! Food was delish and so well prepared!
