I love the Teddy Roosevelt / Rough Rider feel when you walk off the elevator. The whole western theme immediately had my wife concerned that the place was gimmicky and that the food would be mediocre. Boy was she surprised. We started with the lamb lollipops and they were unbelievably good. I typically stay away from lamb because it can be too rich for my stomach. The lollipops were perfect... and the chimichurri was to die for! My wife had the Wagyu Filet and I had the Pork Chop. That would be my top two suggestions for anyone trying Rough Rider for the first time. They did not disappoint. I always gauge a restaurant by how it compares to what I can do at home. These were cooked to perfection and the flavors definitely worthy of praise. The deserts were fine but not their strong suit.
