Best American Restaurants in Chesterland

Happening place and a good addition to the Chagrin Falls scene. I had the seared tuna with a very unusual sticky rice compliment that was fried and presented, for lack of a better description, as a rice hash brown. It was tasty and complimented the sear tuna. The chopped salad was also excellent. My wife had the chicken and liked it, but felt they used a little too much salt, especially on the fries. She loved her beet salad. Overall, a great new place.

Beautiful view from the best table in the house! We also had a great waitress, that took care of everything! The trout dinner was superb. The Kale chicken salad and French onion soup was outstanding. I had a Caesar salad with a few extras (red onions and tomatoes) that was colorful and dressing was served on the side. I also tried the grilled chicken soup. It was not what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s not your typical chicken soup, but it had all the makings that are in chicken soup! It was very tasty and great on this 20 degree day. Over all A+ dining experience today!

This was our first visit to Orchid House. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The restaurant was not crowded given it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving but the service, the staff and the food were just outstanding. Chef Ken even came out and asked us how we enjoyed our dinners. (I had the short rib gnocchis and my wife had the salmon - absolutely delicious and very generous portion). The restaurant made our anniversary dinner memorable. I would highly recommend Orchid House for dinner or even just happy hour. Thank you to everyone there who made us feel so special on our anniversary. We plan on coming back soon!

We had a lovely meal. We sat on the beautiful external patio that was enclosed for winter weather. It was very comfortable with radiant heaters and a roaring fire. They even had cozy blankets if you needed one.

Thank you for squeezing our reservation in earlier! We had such a great time as always.
