Our $89 prix fixe tea service is offered Tuesday through Sunday.Lady Mendl's is an unconventionally chic tea salon housed within a Georgian brownstone in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan. An opulent five-course tea is served in an eclectic and whimsical parlor by a doting staff. Patrons sip tea from hand culled vintage Wedgwood teacups as they nibble dainty finger sandwiches and house baked scones. Please note that our entrance is only accessible via a staircase of 10 steps. This beautifully decorated tea room is the gem of Brooklyn! We have been there several times and love the atmosphere, especially outside, where the tables are well spaced and it’s always quiet. This area now has a lucite roof cover so is useful in all seasons. The choice of teas is vast and they refilled my pot with fresh tea when I asked for hot water. The sandwiches were great and we ordered extras of a favorite! I enjoyed my scone. This place is one of the few tea places I have been where the scones are made more like British than American scones. They were presented with clotted cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd. Delicious! The staff were very attentive without being intrusive and were really lovely to allow us to hang out there for 3 hours! I highly recommend Brooklyn High Low for your next tea time!
