CUCINA enoteca is located on the west side of Fashion Island, Orange County's most sophisticated retail experience. Owner Tracy Borkum's flair for combining great ambience, award-winning cuisine and unparalleled service are once again starring components in this latest Urban Kitchen Group creation. Executive Chef Tim Kolanko and Chef de Cuisine Cesar Sarmiento bring their artistry to the table as guests enjoy an open kitchen. The menu features Italian classics with a modern twist, made with the freshest local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Along with a diverse selection of wines by the glass, guests may visit the restaurant's retail area to select from over 200 bottles for dinner (corkage fee of $10 applies) or purchase wine to go. The energetic space features contemporary elements and vintage artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen combined with the comfort of a rustic farmhouse.

    I always enjoy the consistently good food at Enoteca Newport Beach. This time it was an out of town friend that requested we go back again since he liked it so much the first time. We had a great dinner, sharing multiple items amongst four of us along with two bottles of wine. We were there for 3 hours on a Sunday evening. Service was attentive but not pushy or annoying which we greatly appreciated.

    Normally, we love the restaurant unfortunately last night service was terrible. Our children’s food was almost 15 minutes late than the rest of our food and the server lied to us and said that it was coming right out of the oven 10 minutes before that. Unfortunate for such a great establishment

    Our server RJ was great. The octopus, meatballs andchopped salad were all terrific. There was a crying baby next to us but as a father of four girls you certainly can't take points from the restaurant for that. It is fun environment, very active and somewhat frenetic, noise levels are high but not too high. We go once every few weeks....we really enjoy the restaurant m, quality is always top notch

    This place is beautiful and the food is good. I had the chicken and my friend got the short ribs. My husband got the mushroom pizza and did not love it. Very busy and a bit loud but overall very good. We will go again!

    My guest and I had an incredible experience at Cucina Enoteca. The most remarkable part of the evening was that Kate, our server, attended to us impeccably while also attending to a party of 12 as well as handling the rest of the tables on the patio where we were seated. I noticed the party of 12 was quite demanding but she handled it with Grace and professionalism, a smile on her face with a great attitude. Very professional.

    I was a guest when Cucina first opened. I loved the food and ambience so I decided to return on this trip to Newport Beach. The food was delicious. The menu changed a bit, however, it will still good. I loved it best the first time.

    I have been a proponent of Cucina Enoteca since the first OC site opened at the Spectrum years ago and have been a regular at their Newport Beach location as well. That said, the mighty have fallen! What was interesting and innovative is now pedestrian and badly delivered: uncared-for pizza and overcooked bland pasta (shrimp linguine) all at inflated prices for what was delivered I'll try the Spectrum branch with the faint hope that the issue was the kitchen and not an overall tiredness of staff and concept. Too bad
