   Cucina Enoteca never fails to disappoint. Service was outstanding and the food delicious. We always order the Squash blossom appetizer because it's just too good to pass up. One of our guests had the Cod special and the rest the Short Rib Pappardelle which was amazing. Great restaurant for celebrations but also just to go with special friends.

   Server forgot to put in one of our orders and didn’t acknowledge it or comp it even though it came out like 30 mins after the rest of our food. Drinks took a long time to get after ordering multiples times…

   The service and creative kitchen in Del Mar. The roasted octopus is my favorite starter and with family style salads and pasta dishes it makes for a complete tasty meal

   Delicious food and cocktails. Nice wine selection. The pizza is really some of the best around if you like thin crust. Our server was wonderful. Great for groups, date night, even families with kids who've got sophisticated palates. 🙂

    Nice servers. Food is very good. A little bit on the expensive side but that’s expected coz it’s located at del mar. Ambience is amazing! Love the interiors. Only thing negative i can say about it is the front hostess who seated us was not pleasant at all. No smile no nothing LOL

    Waited 15 mins for someone to greet our table. When he finally arrived, he said the first round of drinks were in the house because of the wait. They weren’t on the house - we were charged. The food, generally good, was embarrassingly bad (we took some friends who were in from SF). I told one “it’s hard to order because while the pastas are all good, the pizza is actually really good too.” On my suggestion, she ordered a margarita pizza. It was terrible. Not fully cooked and floppy. The bread slices with the burata and tomatoes (brushcheta) were stale. And the prosciutto pasta was oddly chewy. All around super disappointing

    The pizza took forever to arrive. It was cold. They then brought another one. The wine pour was about 4 ounces no more no less. I will never return to that restaurant again. It was so loud I could not even hear my self talk.

    We had a great group dinner. It was our friend’s birthday and we had 12 people at the table which definitely can be a challenge but our waitress was fantastic. She was super attentive and explained everything to us and got us plates for our birthday cupcakes. Everyone had a blast! Thank you Cucina Enoteca for making it a special experience. That’s hard to do these days at restaurants.

    I love this restaurant but yesterday I got a bad experience about the food, my seafood pasta was very tasteless, we ordered coffee and were cold we need to told to our server and she was not so kind about that.

    The food was good and the service was fantastic. However, we selected a bottle of the wine from the restaurant to open at the table. We enjoyed our meal and the wine, but when the bill came the price of the wine was much higher than what was on the bottle. When we asked to speak to the manager, he came with a aggressive attitude suggesting that we might have changed the price ourselves. Our server, however mentioned that they have had the same problem last week. The manager was rude, no apologetic and accusing.

    We dined here for our Friday night dinner. There were 11 of us and we enjoyed the apps (Brussel sprouts, focaccia, truffle fries) and a variety of the entrees from pastas, pizza, the 1/2 chicken entree, and the burger. My father ordered the osso buco and thought the pork shank was dry; my nephew switched plates with him. Other than that a very satisfying dinner: good food, prompt service, and very reasonable prices.

    As usual, all was fine, the food was fine: we had our favorites, and the ambience was pleasant, with only about 1/2 the dining room full (we sat upstairs, so it was relatively quiet compared with the full main dining room downstairs).

    Eventhough it was our anniversary no comment on that and they wanted to seat us next to the bathrooms. When I told the hostess that that’s not a the table I would wanna sit for our anniversary she placed us on the table next to it. Our server wasn’t very attentive either. We really love the restaurant but unfortunately last night wasn’t a pleasant experience.

    Food was awesome! We got the Margarita Pizza + Shrimp, Clam, Squid ink linguine + Parmesan fries. So tasty! To drink we had the Blood orange Spritzer. Overall we had a great experience! We can’t wait to be back again next time.

    As an ovo-lacto vegetation, almost every Italian restaurant provide a lot of choices. The choices were few, and the entre I ordered was tasteless. The place was busy on a Friday evening and the service took a bit of a hit. Overall, the entire experience was a big disappointment.

    There's always a crying kid seated next to you. The seasonal chef crudo was a waste of money. There were 4 thinly (as thin as possible) pieces of hamachi on top of a plate of beans for $18. The pizzas are good. My husband enjoyed his bolognese. The wine by the glass (sangiovese blend) was OK but not great.

    The amount of food for an Italian restaurant was pretty small. I would say almost kids size. The surcharge seems like a left over from COVID and you should just raise your prices to match or get ride of it.

    Staff was not very knowledgeable in their wine. Two of the listed bottles that we had asked for were out of stock and when finally getting a hold of a bottle, I asked the server to decant it; when pouring the wine into the decanter she served it right away into our glasses without letting it sit for a while. I thought this was an enoteca. To make things worse we were charged a higher price then the listed price of the bottle. Food was great.

    Last evening four of us had dinner. The food for all of us was outstanding and our server was wonderful. That being said we hit a major glitch .. BEWARE .. if you receive an e-gift card you will run into lots of trouble as we did. Apparently to honor the gift card the Manager insisted there must have been a “code”in the email sent .. trust me, after 4 of us looking over the email none of us, including the Manager could find the code! There was no such thing! They were able to find the gift card on their side of the transaction but before they even tried to do that the Manager kept on insisting without a code they could not honor the card. The card was for $100. It was clear that the gift card was from their restaurant only, purchased as a gift a month earlier but what was really frustrating was the Manager’s attitude insisting that something was there that clearly wasn’t and not honoring what was clearly shown on the printed email receipt. The experience greatly diminished a desire to return.
