   A truly memorable dining experience. The six courses were beautifully prepared and delicious. We added the wine pairing and really enjoyed the selections. Service was impeccable. Cucina 24 was a highlight of our Asheville visit.

   My husband and I are big fans of tasting menus. I say that so readers know we have a solid base for comparison. This meal was among the best we have had in years! And it was priced at an incredibly reasonable $60 for five courses! The first course consisted of various small bits of appetizers, second were three “salads” constructed with fresh and local ingredients, third was gnocchi in brown butter served with fried soft shell crab pieces. (The contrast between the pillow soft gnocchi and the crunchy crab was fantastic!) Fourth course we had our choice of either mackerel or beef cheeks and for dessert, there was panna cotta topped with balsamic sorbet. It has been our recent experience (last few years) with tasting menus that there may be one or two fantastic courses, but seldom have we enjoyed a meal when EVERY.SINGLE.COURSE was a home run. This restaurant scored on every course. If you live in Asheville, lucky you—go to this restaurant. If you are visiting, like we were, be sure to make your reservations and enjoy. Service was superlative, timing excellent and we will be sure to return if ever in the area again.

   Overall this was a lovely dinner with lots of tastes. I like the tasting menu concepts and wish that more restaurants had it.

   We went for dinner and its only a fixed menu for dining in at the moment. I’m not allowed to eat gluten which is super annoying. They were so accommodating and amazing - made every dish, even pasta, gluten free. Was really kind and unexpected, and I appreciate it so much. Food and service was amazing.

   I enjoyed my meal with 3 other people. The tasting course was excellent. I loved the salad course. The vegetables were very fresh, as if they were just picked from a garden. The serving sizes were appropriate. For the protein course, my pork chop was tender and tasty. I had a taste of my wife's monkfish which I thought was too acidic but she thought it was fine. The restaurant was very strict on Covid precautions which is very good. Our waiter was helpful and very knowledgable. We will dine here again when we visit Asheville.

   This is one of our favorite restaurants, and is always great. But this visit was outstanding. Maybe the best meal we have had here over the past 7 or so years.
