Our kitchen is focused on melding the traditions and philosophies of Italian cookery with ingredients found in the mountains of the American South.
We work closely with a number of area farms and our menus reflect produce that they bring to us.

It was a five course set menu that didn’t disappoint. The space between tables went above and beyond the mandated spacing... too empty 😁 Erroring on the side of caution is the worst thing in the world. thank you for a wonderful dinner!
The ambiance was so singular, the evening felt especially catered to what we had hoped to experience. Starting with walking through the door, service was comfortable and inviting. We truly felt like we tasted the culinary uniqueness of Asheville with our visit to Cucina24. Cheers to the new year!
Best food I had in a long time. Enjoyed it and really can recommend it.
The chef’s tasting menu was fabulous- each course so creative and thoughtful. I also did the wine pairing, and I thought the unique choices were wonderful. I tried things I never thought I would (the tongue with salsa verde amazing!) and interesting combinations of familiar flavors. The food is so smart and so delicious. Worth the splurge!
Wowowowow an amazing experience.
We had a 15 course meal or something and everything was fantastic.
11/10
We stumbled upon Cucina 24 at the last minute on Open Table and wow, what a find! The food was amazing and unique, with several items bearing unfamiliar but tasty ingredients. The service was impeccable; our waitress was very knowledgeable and appropriately enthusiastic about sharing info with us. The lighting was perfect: dim enough for a romantic evening without risking not being able to see one's food! And the music was perfect too: not overpowering but loud enough to hear and feel the good vibes that were just right for such a dinner. Well done on all accounts!
Excellent dining experience!
their family style dining tasting menu is absolutely amazing and paired well with delicious wines. our service was as outstanding as the food.
Service was great. Food was HORRIBLE. The food wasn't Italian. The pasta that was served tasted like Rivoli meat. The vegan pasta was thrown together black eyed peas with noodles and pesto. The bread was cold. The other dish was drenched in olive oil. The dessert was a cold pastry. This was not worth $150 compared to Cork & Flame we had a few days prior in another town. Same concept except with Lamb, Filet Mignon, bomb dessert etc. The server was very nice but food was CRAP!
We couldn't have been more pleased with our meal, service, and overall experience. Things are weird with Covid regulations, but the staff manages the regulations with a cool professionalism that seems safe and unobtrusive... walking in, the place has kind of a speak-easy feel. They accommodated food allergies with the same casual grace. Absolutely wonderful!
The whole experience wS amazing. Br use of Covid precautions in Asheville, the restaurant only had six tables spaced 20 feet apart. They are working off a fixed menu that was amazing. Lots of small bites—maybe 10 before we got to the entree. Each plate was unique, complex and tasty. I was full before we got to the entrees so we took it all home and had enough for another dinner.
I’m sorry to say that post-covid, we not be able to have the same quiet experience, but we were thrilled with what we had.
As always our meal was fantastic. I love that the menu is set and the food just comes. It gives you more time to spend with the people you are there with rather than everyones face being in a menu.
The variety and amount of food is incredible. It's like a journey or an adventure to work you way through the plethora of little dishes of delights. We did the wine pairing too which was also wonderful. We got glasses of very expensive wine and learned about new varietals and regions we would otherwise not ever have known.
Because the menu changes frequently, we try and make it back several times a year and Cucina 24 is always at the top of our list of places to take our out of town guests.
Excellent food despite COVID! Love the vegetables and pasta. Great wine selection.
Love Brian, his staff and especially his FOOD.. .he is a culinary genius.
I have been dining at Cucina24 since it opened 15 years ago and it only get Better.
see you next week !

Did not have great like of gnocchi . So happy we came here. Friend David Ladic of Naples Fl highly recommended your restaurant and I am very pleased and thankful. Wonderful experience. The very best to you. Jennifer Rector
Fantastic experience.
Wonderful prix fixe meal! Each offering was thoughtfully prepared (used locally sourced and seasonal selections) and delicious. The pace was perfect, not hurried. My husband also added the wine pairings and each one enhanced the foods they accompanied. From the first bite to the last, it was a great meal.
Excellent food!!!!
I read great reviews before booking a reservation here. I’ll be honest, it was just very mediocre. It felt like it was just trying too hard. We ate off of a tasting menu (that’s what they’re offering due to covid, totally understandable) and it just was not worth what we paid for it. Not sure if our experience would be the same if we were just ordering off of a regular menu—some things were good! Others were just a miss. We are visiting from out of town and we would not be back at a return visit.
Annoying, loud music. Service was great. Tasting menu was ok.
Overall great experience!
A very nice twist on the strange times we are living in. Instead of a full menu they did a delicious tasting menu with so many fun small plates to share and taste. We each picked our own entree and shared the rest. We chose the option of going with the wine pairing and the wine was paired very well with the food. Such a smart idea when you have to reduce the number of patrons - wise kitchen decision.
Best meal in Asheville hands down! I’m a big foodie who lives in Chicago and follows Michelin stars, James Beard Awards, etc.
Lovely date night dinner. Courses, wine, service, Covid restrictions— all on point!
The most fantastic food that I would have never thought to pick for myself. Too to bottom... fantastic. Amazing ambiance and quick service.
Amazing experience during covid-19 days, they seemed to recently reopened. Temperature screen upon arrival and names taken for contact tracing. Interesting menu with 2 choices for main entree but be prepared for lots of small plates beforehand. A great way to try new things and the food was delicious.
This is a wonderful restaurant. The food was authentic healthy Italian dishes well prepared, so delicious. Great service. Wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended restaurant when in Asheville, NC.
By far the most incredible meal we had in Asheville.
Wonderful, quiet nice with delectable food!
The six course meal was delightful. An array of local vegetables were prepared with various seasonings added that kept the palate active prior to the main course. The main course of trout and sausage culminated the sitting pleasantly. We love this restaurant’s approach to dinner during these COVID-19 times.
Our server, Nikala(?) did a wonderful job.....she explained all the courses, timing was great, etc. Did have a problem with all the plates on such a small table at one time....a little overwhelming, so maybe it was a timing issue....made us feel a little rushed. The Trout was excellent as was the proscuitto/carrot appetizer. Too many things with celery in it got a little tiring. Bread.....so yummy! This restaurant is doing an excellent job balancing during COVID times, it’s got to be hard!
Poor choice of food options. Food was fair at best...is this really an Italian restaurant? The only Italian preparation was the mozzarella ! A definite change of menu options is needed here.
I have never tipped 30% in my life. They deserve it
AMAZING! The pre-fixe tasting menu was perfectly planned out. I love that they made use of so much of the local farm offerings.
A truly wonderful meal with great courses and wine pairings. Go hungry!
Our server was knowledgeable about her product and took pride in serving it. We had such a nice experience And plan to go again!
So Delicious & Very attentive to social distancing!!! Next Trip here will DEFINITELY go again!
Absolutely fabulous! Everything was so delicious and there was a copious amount of food to be had. It was fun working our way through it! Can't wait to go back to see what Chef comes up with next!
Great evening, food was great. Olive oil was delicious and wait staff was very attentive.
Definitely recommend trusting the chef's menu. It was cold sitting outdoors but everything else was amazing!
I've eaten at Cucina 24 quite a few times over the years and have always found it exceptional, including my first outdoor dining experience with them, back in August, when I felt that Mr Canipelli and his crew outdid themselves. That was one of the best dinners I've eaten, at Cucina 24 or anywhere else. Unfortunately, however, my experience there this last weekend was disappointing. To start with, my craft cocktail (they usually pack a punch, are inventive and unique, and so delicious that when you hit the bottom you want to cry for more) was loaded with little ice cubes from top to bottom; what little liquid was there was weak and watery. Not to mention expensive. Food-wise, we went for the tasting menu option, where we chose our main (secondi) course, but the antipasti and dolci were samples of everything else on offer. The antipasti were hit and miss -- some delicious, others mediocre. A pasta dish (the primi course) was gummy and flavorless. My main course (poussin) tasted quite nice, but was very small and undercooked. The dolci were fabulous. The service started out well (including help with finding a terrific bottle of wine from their list), but we waited a very long time between the primi course and the main course (apologies were offered, but still. . .), and after that -- even though the outdoor eating area is small and was not at all busy -- service was spotty, at best. It seemed as if the servers had found something else to do that had nothing to do with us. Overall, this was a less than satisfactory dining experience, especially in comparison to what I know, from experience, this restaurant can provide. I know times are tough; I just hope they haven't given up.
