About
Pizza was awesome
Appetizers were cold so had to ask for another one
Waitress seemed very busy
We meet here every few months to get together. It’s unfortunate that they closed the restaurant early and practically kicked us out.
Pizza crust is very good, toppings a little stingy, overall feels authentic italian. The drinks were OK but on a tiny glass. Service is good.
Great food and service as always!!!
Always a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Great food and great people every time!
Very under staffed. Running out of food at noon and they only opened at 11, updates about lack of food came out after order was in for 20minutes. Only 3 tables occupied when we walked in. How does a pizza place run out of pepperoni slices and take 45 for another? Poorly run. Nice waitress.
We sat at a booth in the bar and the bartender waited on us. She was fantastic. She was very friendly, professional and attentive to our needs. She made our visit very pleasurable. The food was great, as it always is. This is our neighborhood go to stop for a quick drink and weeknight dinner.
Really hot ! Uncomfortable , should close off patio & Allie a/c to cool dk if area.
Evan was an outstanding and friendly server. He suggested the dressed up brussels sprouts and so we gave them a try. Delicious! We will be back to our new found gem. The pizza was wonderful as well!
Service so slow. No one even came to see us for 15 min
Great place to watch sport. Watched the NCAA tournament games. Good eats and atmosphere.
Love coming here. Service was great. Only reasons why I didn’t give a 5-star rating for the food for this visit was because the dishes were prepared a bit differently this time. For an example, we ordered chicken wings and got only wings - no celery sticks as done in previous visits. The shrimp appetizer was also watery and soupy - so it lost a bit of it’s flavorful taste. But overall, pizza was great, the sprouts were fine and loved my stout.
We always enjoy going to Crust, our neighborhood Pizzeria. Kimia and her husband are the owners and always greet us by name and make us feel welcome. Shawn and Elle are great at making every meal special. We highly recommend Crust.
Tried this on a whim Friday night. We've never eaten in a noisier restaurant ever. Poor acoustics and a lot of children. This is the neighborhood place to bring the kids and walk around with you cocktail chatting with other parents. Our ears were ringing and throats sore from yelling to be heard. The food was good but conversation impossible making this a poor value dining out. Takeout would be a good option yet pricey. One salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and 2 10" pizzas was $75.
The servers were very personable, but service was marginal. We asked twice for Parmesan cheese, never offered more water or beverage, and had to clear my own plate in order to package my leftovers. I actually went to the bar to get water myself. Probably won't return
Great pizza, great service. Overall a win
Love Crust. For us it is nice to have a place we can go to where everyone knows our name. It's our place. Their Brussels Sprout and Cauliflower appetizer is amazing. Excellent pizza and they make it the way I like it - really crispy. Also, a great place to watch sports so we go almost every Sunday during football season. Shawn is our most favorite staffer - although everyone is lovely! Nice patio space too. Just a great little spot for everyday dining. Thanks Crust!
We love that there is a great restaurant right down the street from where we live. Their pizzas and salads are always tasty. They have like 10 big screen TVs and you can always get them to put a game on for you.
The lunch special offered a lot of food for the price.
Great spot for team lunch. Variety of food options, casual atmosphere, and fun decor. Glad I found it - we will be back!
I was expecting better pizza crust from an establishment with such a name. Maybe we got a slice of old pizza, because the crust was dry, hard to chew, and unflavorful. Disappointed in the pizza and the tiny portion sizes for the kids' pasta meals. My garden salad was different and tasty and the Mexican soup was decent. Meatballs were good but overall, the value wasn't there.
Went to Crust on Christmas eve because other locations have good reputations...very disappointed with the service (even though restaurant was slow) and food - little taste. My 12-year old was first complain about her pizza, which didn't even look at appetizing.
Great service!
Great pizza in the neighborhood. It has a great ambiance and great for a family dinner.
We came for the pizza
pizza was burnt on the bottom . I am bringing back the half we took home
Great pizza but so much more. Early evening is lots of kids, noise and energy. But the place appeals to all. Nice bar, great selection. Could use a little more servers during the busy dinner hour, but other than that, this is a great add to the community.
Nice creative pizzas & pasta. Love that they have gluten-free options! Nice draft beer selection & modestly priced wines. Few booths so call ahead or use open table (they usually honor my request for a booth). Seems more of a group dining environment than for intimate date nights...
First the place was packed with a lot of families with kids. The noise level was beyond belief. You had to scream to your dinner companions to be heard. I had to read the server's lips in order to know what she was saying to me. It was a long time before we were even greeted at our table by a server and a long time to get anything once ordered including water. Friday night at 7:45 is not a good time to visit. The ambience is terrible. Looks like a cafeteria. No carpets, exposed pipes in ceiling (therefore the noise level )very little on the table when seated. Not my idea of a nice evening out but must say the pizza was very good and hot once served after almost an hour wait, though quite expensive considering the small sizes of the pizzas. Probably won't be back unless I go at a very "off" time. Shame....liked the pizza.
We booked a large party and pre-ordered some food for the girls in our group. The help and support that we received prior to our reservation was amazing. I loved the follow through from the owner and the kind guidance with our menu selections. Everyone had a terrific time and we all enjoyed our food tremendously. We were able to enjoy our time with our daughters and also our time together as a group of working moms. It was a pleasure to be treated like 1st class passengers. Thank you for your spot-on performance!
Great food, great service. People working there were all nice and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit.
I've been to Crust a few times now - twice for lunch and i have hosted a large (30+ ppl) on the patio for dinner. The staff is super cool and the food is great. They have a good bar as well. I definitely recommend this place for family dinners, happy hours with co-workers, lunch and large parties. I'll be back.
Nice addition to the Carmel valley neighborhood. Family friendly, great staff and excellent food. Can't go wrong here. They do a lot for the local community and schools.
Meatballs were tasty. Pizza was memorable. Lots of beautiful people work and dine there. Beer was cold. Padres were on. Enough said.
1st visit will be back
What a great place for lunch. Our server was friendly and right there with drinks, food and checking in on us as we ate. The spaghetti and meatballs was just like home made.
Nice little neighborhood spot. Nice, evolving craft beers on tap and pizza that is pretty good.
