Excellent food as per usual. Think the drinks could be better this time around.
Good quality Sushi at a very fair price. Very easy walk to the TD Garden which is a real plus
One of our favorite sushi venues in Boston.
Food was ok. Weird club music.
I recommend to update website ASAP ir says 11pm you should not take reservations at 9pm when last call for kitchen is at 945 And you close at 10pm
We made a reservation more than a week in advance. When we arrived, the hostess curtly informed us that the kitchen staff was not present. No acknowledgement, apology or attempts to reconcile the situation were made. The hostess said that the kitchen staff never arrived before opening, so this was evidently not an emergency or unforeseen situation. The least the restaurant could have done is told us they would not be able to honor our reservation so we could have found another place.
Came here on a Saturday night with a girlfriend and we ordered crab rangoons and three different sushi rolls. The crab rangoons came out still frozen in the middle. Sent them back and they gave us fresh new ones but still such a turn off. And they were not comped. The sushi was okay- nothing to rave about. Overall very expensive for the food you receive. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going for drinks.
Ambiance and food were great!
We had two waiters: a woman and a man, the man was super nice and servicial, but the woman who brought the food was zero customer service driven.
Our table was really small but managed to arrange all plates.
The restaurant is really good in overall,
food is good and drinks as well.
The music maybe little to loud for talk.
The service is awesome!
Great food! A bit loud upstairs for my taste, but they had a more chill downstairs option so they cater to most audiences
I would say this is extremely average sushi. The fish was very bland and for its price it doesn’t provide any flare or creativity.
Love this casual place. Sushi is great and affordable. The ambience is nice. A Japanese delish in the middle of the Italian Cuisine in the North End!
Food was delicious and ambiance was great!
Service was awesome. Very attentive and extremely polite.
The food and cocktails were great. Only thing that was weird was that we ordered a lot of small plates to share. The table was tiny and they used giant plates and the food runners didn’t care to consolidate or make the food fit. They were just like “well you have more food coming do you want us to wait?” While we tried to replate and organize the table. They also wouldn’t really bus the table when we had empty plates so it was just cluttered. So I thought the service could have been better. Besides that the food was fabulous.
A great meal as per usual
not fine dining but really great food and friendly staff
Great sushi. Took a little long to come out and they were definitely understaffed but the food was great and service was excellent. Definitely will be back
Food was great but upstairs there was just 1 waiter and he was also the bartender. He did great but service was slow due to this
We were seated outside which was actually in front of a smoke shop, not crudo. Then waited +15 min to put drinks in. Food not as good as pre Covid. Udon noodles had no flavor, was mostly onions.
The sushi was incredible - so fresh! Great yaki soba and endaname.
Crudo has always been one of my favorite places in the north end - despite it not being Italian.
The fried rice and orange chicken are amazing, and I’ve never had a bad cocktail (they are big and strong - just how I like it - so they’re worth the price).
Also, the sushi is lit.
Awesome sushi, so fresh! Melts in your mouth. Strong drinks! Awesome servers. Will be back!
Wonderful meal- had apps, entrees. Friendly staff and has outside seating too
Best sushi spot in north end. Service was fantastic. Great ambiance. Delicious drinks.
We ate outside and due to this the service was slow
Food and ambiance were great, service was very slow, my boyfriend was done with dinner by the time mine arrived, but it ended up being worth the wait
Quality of sushi was excellent for an area known for Italian food. Would highly recommend for the sushi,
I would not call this a sushi bar rather a fusion Chinese restaurant. Not sure where all these people that commented on a great sushi had real sushi before Definitely not a place to eat real
Sushi in fact we had fried rice.
It was poor, and that’s being kind. I made these reservations three weeks ago. The hostess could not be bothered, as she was on the phone with her friend… when we arrived.
I was told that they were completely booked and I could not sit outside however, that does not appear to be the case. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come to our table…so we left!
Please note: This review is not for the food quality or much of anything else but no option for N/A. I made a reservation after researching several online websites, including the restaurant’s own website. I based my choice about where to dine on menu items that no longer exist, as s vernal other diners noted. I did not stay to eat. Menu needs to be updat d so diners have a true sense of offerings so guests don’t arrive only to experience disappointment, as I did. Also, it may help prospective diners to know that the outdoor space is across the street and directly borders the sidewalk, but at least you can eat outside if you prefer. It was a long shot from “romantic” as some reviewers described it, but that’s just my take...
We had a wonderful experience at Crudo celebrating our anniversary. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The pork bun appetizer was amazing. We tried a number of different signature makimono rolls - all were delicious. The Jade Dragon was my favorite. Overall we had a wonderful evening and will definitely return.
Great food, they gave us green tea shots on the house, great service!
One of the best spots for sushi in Boston. Always do fresh with great music and fantastic energy - fuelled by the manager (owner?) bringing around shots all the time!
Great small hip spot with outstanding fish. Salmon is amazing - you HAVE to try it. Nice waiters.
Food was great and service was even better!
Fun date vibe
Prompt and great service. Food was exceptional. Nice treat
Great food! This hidden gem has a lot of character.
This restaurant was on the Phantom Gourmet. I was super excited to have a nice night out with my husband. I looked at the menu ahead of time. I was shocked at some of the prices but for good food, I have no problem paying for that price.
As we entered we were greeted by a hostess wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants. I understand that you want to be comfortable at work however, that is really comfortable. We were directed upstairs (social distance) and was seated.
We were the only table in the upstairs lounge for a bit. What caught my eye was that there were still chairs on the tables. I understand that everyone is supposed to be seated away from each other...but you can put down the chairs and place a "reserve" sign. Be classy.
The arrived and took our order. He also was in a sweatshirt and sweatpants. The hostess then gave us our first course but now the sweatshirt was off and she was now in a thin strap camisole. I am sorry but if I am dropping $300 for a nice dinner. I do not want to see your armpits.
Food was amazing...service needs different attire and finish side work before they open.
