The Crow's Nest was our most memorable dining experience on our 2 week trip to Alaska. Atop the Captain Cook Hotel, we had an excellent server, view and overall experience. The oysters were from a SE Alaskan source with an incredible huckleberry mignonette sauce. We had fresh Alaskan Halibut perfectly cooked and a side of incredible mushrooms. For dessert a "banana split" with homemade banana ice cream, bruleed banana, chocolate sauce and strawberries. The wine list was extensive, but we appreciated quality wines by the glass. Sophistication in Alaska! Wonderful!

I was disappointed. This was an anniversary dinner for me and my husband. We used a gift card, so at least we didn’t spend our own money. But I left feeling like it was still a waste of someone’s money. I ordered king crab. $155. It was fishy and too salty. I have had king crab before. This tasted like it was in the freezer too long. My husband ordered King salmon. No complaints except it was small and he was still hungry afterward. I won’t go back. There are a lot better restaurants in Anchorage at a better price and better food. Service was fine.

We chose the Crow's Nest as we were staying at the hotel for our anniversary and while I/we had been many times for cocktails/appetizers/dessert, never for dinner I was pleased that they recognized that when we arrived, and they put us in a smaller room next to the window so it was a pretty quiet relaxing experience. The restaurant was completely full for dinner and it took us almost 4 hours from appetizers to dessert since we didn't order all at once. The service was great but there were just so many people and it really slowed things down. When you order a special tableside item, it is prepared by your server. This of course takes them from the other tables....I felt a little guilty knowing that The food was very good. We shared the crab bisque which had only one tiny piece of crab but otherwise was very good, the foie gras which was presented nicely and had good accompaniments, and the filet oscar which could have used a bit more bearnaise and was the only disappointing item in size - we had seen one delivered to our neighbors and it was quite a bit bigger however it was cooked well.

The entire experience was wonderful. Extremely good service, food was spot on. Emma is a great server, she was absolutely attentive when needed and let us enjoy the experience otherwise. She is very knowledgeable about the entire menu.

The Crow's Nest, though typically outside my budget for dinner, was a perfect place for our anniversary. The wait staff were amazing, from beginning to end, and the food was exceptional.

The service at Crow’s Nest is always superb. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I have yet to have a bad dish at this restaurant. Every meal has been excellent.

This was one of the best restaurants that I have had the pleasure of discovering and enjoying the experience. The staff was amazing - very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful setting for the first night of our vacation. Our server and her assistant were wonderful. Lovely ambiance, old world charm, delicious food. No disturbing music so we could have a leisurely meal.
