   We celebrated our JMU graduate here for dinner this year. I highly recommend this as a graduation dinner venue. I’m not much for buffets in general, but the food was surprisingly outstanding! Our server was such a lovely young man who couldn’t do enough to make sure we felt special. Plus, the wine was surprisingly good. We ended up buying several bottles to take home. Overall, a lovely experience!

   Disappointed that there was no outside seating. With not much fabric or other sources to soak up the sound inside, it was very noisy, which makes it difficult to have a normal conversation and very challenging for older folks. Also, the price was too high for a brunch. Although I love the winery and the gorgeous views, I probably will not attend a brunch here again at this price.

   Main course dishes were of good variation , warm and good. The beef was a little too rare for my taste and the chicken was a little bland. The side dishes were all very good. The deserts were a good variety. The cannolis tasted like they were thawed from freezer but everything else was very good. The mimosas were a nice touch and good

   We often go to Bistro, one of our favorite places for lunch. Today was special. It was a Mother's Day buffet, and it was exceptional. Multiple food choices, all very good to excellent. As ALWAYS, the service was the best! I would highly recommend a visit, for a weekday lunch or a special event.

   Most excellent service ( Eleanor) and othercstff were friendly and courteous. Food was very good.

   First time attending a Cross Keys special buffet event. Took 80+ mother and mother in law for Mother's Day and they said "10 out of 10". Both are new to the area and didn't know what to expect. The room was so lovely decorated. Jimmy O was strolling with light music. The food assortment was wonderful to span brunch into dinner. Best was the dessert options. A great experience.

   Delicious food and a lovely ambiance for their Mother's Day brunch. The candied bacon, the French toast, and the tenderloin were highlights.

   We enjoy Cross Keys. Love the redesign of the tasting room and the edition of the outdoor covered patio. We had 3 appetizers - the garlic shrimp was excellent, especially the sauce and roasted garlic cloves. Fried oysters were very good. The spinach & artichoke bread was a disappointment. They have great focaccia bread but they served it smothered with the cream cheese and gooey, runny mess that covered the plate. You had to eat it with a fork and the favor was nothing special. Later we ordered focaccia bread with olive oil and enjoyed that with our meal. We ate the filet with potatoes, spinach and onions. The cipollini balsamic glazed onions were wonderful over the steak and potatoes. They are dog friendly but I wish those dining who choose to bring their dogs remember we don't all enjoy barking dogs when we come out to eat. I do own a dog but do not believe every dining experience is suited for a dog.
