They were disorganized. They sent us to the roof for the wine music special which we didn't reserve. By the time we got back down it was 10 minutes later and they didn't have table. We waited another 15 minute until one was available. I had to send the check back 3 three times because it wrong. The food was great and the place was beautiful.
Best brunch around. Wide selection and great drinks. Staff is always great. Good way to start a weekend.
We have been hearing about Crop Bistro and decided to go to celebrate a birthday. The room has understated decor to complement the beautiful ceiling. The staff are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I am a picky eater "blessed" with food allergies and there were lots of options for me.
Our only complaint is that the new piano is loud due to acoustics making it hard to be heard.
The atmosphere is very interesting. The décor is historic. The food is very good consistently.
Service was terrible. Extremely long wait for food while we watched people who got there long after us get their food first. Unfriendly waitor and hostess. Very expensive for mediocre food and service.
At Crop, I had a salmon dish that was cooked extremely enjoyable. Our server was not at all enthusiastic, and seemed so rushed that he left the table before even finishing his sentences. However, the restaurant is located in an old bank building, and this helps to create a unique dining experience.
Went to Crop Bistro for Valentine's Day, our first visit in a year. This place still has the great ambiance, great service, and of course, great food. The special Valentine's Week menu was amazing. The new chairs are extremely comfortable! And kudos to our server, Amanda, who was excellent. Will definitely be back soon.
We went as a family for our pre valentines dinner with my baby and husband and mom ! Picked crop as we have never had a bad experience there ! Food was amazing especially the shrimp and scallops meal and the creme brûlée trio 😋😋 service is always great and Amanda was a great server
Service and ambiance were outstanding! Was here for Sunday brunch, second time in the last few months. Food was good but unfortunately on this occasion the hot foods were either warm or cold.
Food was on the expensive side but honestly it was worth it. I had the salmon and my fiance had short ribs. Portions are large (neither of us ordered a separate side dish and I'm glad we didn't because it would have been too much food). Our server was amazing and the Happy martini was delicious- I had three of them. We started with soup and salad and both were wonderful and larger portions than I'm used to in a a restaurant of this type. All in all our meal + drinks (3 martinis for me, 1 stout for him) was right at $130. Valet was $9 plus tip and they expect you to pay them before they take your car, not when you pick it up. Seating is in a beautiful, bright, open area. It's not "cozy" or intimate so be aware of that.
We left full and happy even if our wallet was noticeably lighter. I definitely recommend Crop and we will be back.
Temmy was an excellent server. Attentive and fun to talk with. The thing I wish was added are seafood crackers & seafood forks. Food was a great variety and delicious
The food and ambiance were amazing as always, but the service left a lot to be desired. We had an 815 reservation for 2 but did not get seated until 850. Thankfully the bartender recognized the long wait and comped our second round of drinks. Once seated, our server was MIA. We had to ask for bread after 15 minutes of sitting down, I had to ask for a napkin once the appetizers came, and I had to ask for a steak knife for my prime rib. Luckily, other servers tried to pick up the slack.
We love the bar at Crop. The happy hour is one of the best deals in town. Now under new management, we notice some changes. And wonder why there are many fewer hightops in the bar? Those were our favorite tables! The historic space is wonderful and it's often quite lively and loud but early in evening on a January weekday, a perfect place for nice conversations.
Great food, service and the ambiance was energetic. We attend Sunday brunch (1/28/18). This was our 1st time there. Food selections were ON POINT! Great shrimp cocktail, lobster salad, mussels, prime rib, crawfish casserole and salad selections. Yes, the breakfast selections were good as well, eggs, French toast, waffles, pork and chicken. Fresh fruit tasted GREAT and I like how the fruit was in separate containers. Buffet was clean, not over-crowded, well lit area so you could see what you were getting. We are going back. There were several celebrations this past Sunday so there is enough room to accommodate a birthday, social club brunch/dinner - just make a reservation.
