Attended Sunday Brunch for Father’s Day. Beautiful assortment of food that was all perfectly prepared! Service and consideration of staff was outstanding. Looking forward to returning!
Great food and service! We were seated too near the piano player - hard to talk. Wish we’d asked to move.
Our server, Amanda, made the evening very special! Food was outstanding and not as expensive as rumored to be. You
Our server Tama was excellent, and the food was equally excellent. We have been to Crop one other time, and it was just as good as we remembered. We were very happy we shared the experience of Crop with our good friends. Thank you!
Food was nice, but could have been much better when compared to the ambience!
Service was friendly but a little slow...and there were only 5 tables with guests. We had to switch tables because the air conditioning was blowing freezing cold air on us and it was a chilly day outside too. Food was excellent. A bit pricey but we expected that. We'd probably go back if we're in the area but not sure we'll make a special trip. They gave us a tour after we were done eating...that was nice. Overall, nice restaurant but not overly impressed.
The food was delicious and the portion sizes were large. They had some unique and interesting combinations of flavors that I didn't think would work, but it did.
Nice place. Good meal. Decent service. Can’t ask for much more.
Latest visit was a bit of a let down. My companion had the Ribeye steak and it was about 1/4" thick like a breakfast diner steak. No matter how the meat was prepared that thin slice of meat when you are expecting to eat a ribeye was a real disappointment. He has ordered this before and it was great. They must be cutting corners to save money. He ordered an espresso martini and it was not great - very acidic. I had the Halibut special with crab risotto. I did not taste any crab although the risotto was very creamy. The Halibut was good but nothing exceptional which is what this chef is known for. They still had the funny flavored popcorn on the menu. The venue is beautiful. There was piano music playing and the acoustics were good. Hey Crop if you are listening put your old Ribeye back on the menu raise your prices instead or give a smaller cut just not a skinny cut.
We ordered the roasted chicken and it was cooked to perfection. The generous servings included mashed potatoes and green beans. Many upscale restaurants we’ve been to recently charge extra for sides. The hazelnut cake was heavenly. Perfect size for sharing.
Good restaurant, but pricey for what it offers
Sat on the table and waited during brunch, no server came to tell us the process (it was our first time), so we jumped to buffet. I learnt who the server was, when she handed me the check......
I have been going to Crop for a number of years now, and I chose Crop for the occasion with my fellow judicial assistants. However, I was soooooo disappointed to find that my favorite sandwich was no longer on the menu. That sandwich was the salmon BLT (YUMMY). That was the best salmon sandwich I had ever tasted, and I not a spring chicken (LOL)! Please consider bringing that sandwich back please.
We came for the Sunday brunch, I’ve lived in Cleveland for 5 years and this is by far the best brunch in town! They have something for everyone’s tastes! Also before leaving ask for a tour of the old bank vault, it’s an incredible sight to see!
Great food and service was spot on. Very friendly staff. I would recommend the brunch.
Located across the intersection from West side Market in a large space that used to be a bank building. The high ceiling and old architecture make for interesting views and conversation. We were there for thr brunch buffet and the selection and quality of foods were both great, too many choices to list. The staff were friendly enough but not really attentive, I guess with a buffet they don't need to be, but still.
I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.
The room is terrific and beautiful, but as a condequence the noise level gets pretty out of control.
Didnt have a server so much as an order taker. My at-the-table experience from service was not up to par with the ambiance, food, and pricetag.
Excellent food and beautiful building. Some initial problems with the service, but the waitress was very apologetic and worked hard to make it up to us. Overall great experience, would definitely go back.
My husband and I went here for our anniversary. We sat for 20 minutes and no one came to greet us or take a drink order. My husband had to go to hostess station to ask the manager if someone would help our table. He sent someone over then came over himself to say they had just switched the stations, and no one knew they were assigned to our table. Appetizers were decent, but small. I ordered the ribeye, which was inedible. 90% gristle. The man busing tables asked if I wanted a box, I said no. He just took my full plate away and never asked if everything was okay. Our waiter must have known everything was bad, as he came to the table, put down a dessert menu and said if we wanted something it would be free. We said we didn't want any more food, so he walked away. He came back shortly thereafter with the bill of $130.00. Nothing had been taken off. We left there mad and hungry. Our anniversary had been ruined. We will not be back, and will be sure to tell everyone of our experience.
Always great.very friendly place. The staff remembered that we were in for brunch in February and that we were on our way to the Batanical Garden. Good food and great champagne.
Excellent service, ambiance and food - love the old building and the popcorn was fantastic!
The service was slow and the ceiling almost fell in on us. The food was good.
I went there with a former colleague to get caught up for lunch. Host was very friendly and helpful and let me choose my table, however it went down from there. Service was lousy. Server barely acknowledged our existence, and it wasn't exactly crowded! Waited at least a half hour for my lobster roll, which does not need to be cooked. I'm sure it was longer.
We had such a great experience at Crop. First, our server was fantastic, came by the right number of times and was so personable. The food was to die for, highly suggest the shrimp and scallops.
Five of us went for Mother's Day Brunch buffet. It was fantastic!! The variety was outstanding and our servers Ryan and Juan were very attentive and helped with everything we needed!! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we have been telling everyone about it!!
Love this restaurant; however, it was busy for Mother’s Day and was loud and packed for the day. The staff was abundant and very helpful, food turnover was excellent and the variety of food was beyond believe. This is our go to special occasion restaurant.
Service was bad, but the worst part of the meal, was the flat out false advertisement. The menu states they have Prime Beef Short Ribs, but they actually use a standard beef chuck roast and cut it into chunks to make it look like short ribs!
Chef should be ashamed for trying to pass off pot roast for short rib!
I chose this restaurant for a girls’ night out for two birthday celebrations. I just googled “Nice restaurants in Cleveland” and this was one of the most recommended. I booked the reservation and they called to confirm a few days before. On the day of we were slightly late because of having to park and walk quite a distance, but it was a non-issue. (I wish I would have realized there was a valet!) The welcoming staff were pleasant and very attentive. The interior of the restaurant was fabulous; two-story tall windows, decorated ceiling, and a beautiful mural painted on the wall. Our server Juan was very informative and accommodating (as it was our first time dining at an establishment of this caliber). The meals came out quickly, and plated tastefully. Speaking of tastefully, it was just as enjoyable eating as it was to look at! We had a reservation for 4 at 7pm (we stayed for a little over two hours), it was very unique to watch as the atmosphere changed from bright and bustling with waiters hopping from table to table and enormous amounts of natural light coming through the windows, to a more relaxed and intimate experience, with a reserved crowd and warm ambient lighting from the fixtures above. Overall, the staff was inviting, the restaurant was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious! We will most definitely be returning!
Honestly, everything besides the service was great. Our server came to take our order and deliver our drinks and then never returned until we had to track him down for our check. Disappointing as we probably would of stayed for more drinks and dessert.
My family came in for Mother's Day and I wanted to take them some place unique. Crop has done an amazing job keeping the original bank architecture while creating a desirable space to dine. The ceiling towers above and we noticed the echo from our conversation. It was not disturbing or dramatic but subtle.
We had the Saturday brunch buffet. My niece immediately commented that the raspberries were the best she has tasted in years. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. There was a surprisingly large selection that had us returning to the buffet.
Service was great. Friendly staff, not intrusive but attentive. I'll return for sure
The food selection for brunch was in abundance. Great selection. Not really a good buffet for children. The server was very friendly and had a sense of humor. Will return for brunch buffet.
Outstanding service and atmosphere but food was sub par. Ordered a medium rare rib eye that came out medium well and dining was somewhat rushed. Best thing we had tonight was the crab deviled eggs!
Main course excellent for those in our dinner party. Salad not fresh with rotting lettuce leaves. I need to be gluten free and despite telling the waiter, I still had a reaction is so would not recommend this restaurant for those with celiac disease.
This food was awesome the brunch selection was great. My waitress was amazing it was a very nice experience it was my birthday and it was my pleasure to be there. I can't wait to come back I told other family members about and we are planning our next visit now. Thank you
The atmosphere at brunch is definitely more casual and energetic than dinner! It felt less stuffy. Not your everyday brunch, but great spot for a special occasion!
AWESOME! This was are first time back since new management took over, the food was great five at our table and everyone loved it. Our waitress was wonderful, she made the evening even better. Great to have them in our Historic Ohio City.
This is the second time I've gone and it was good, but not great. The prime rib was very fatty and cold. Desserts were not worth eating. The chilled seafood section was the best part and it is delicious. The other food could use a little help. The complimentary mimosa was a nice touch. It's debatable whether I will be back for $40/person.
THE SUNDAY BRUNCH WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Great Selection of food!!!
Wonderful room; fantastic food; while good, service was a bit slow.
The food was fantastic
The piano music was too loud
The service at the chef’s table was outstanding
It is obvious that this is a very upscale establishment.
I will not hesitate to take family members or conduct the business meeting at this location in the future.
