Visited for my sons 16th birthday dinner; his first choice. Parmesan Fries are is favorite. Dinner was great and it was topped off with cake and “sparkler” candle.
Server was attentive and pleasant.
My sisters & l had lunch. Since our last visit to Crave, the menu has been revised. Love, love, love the revisions. The wait staff was excellent.
It was a quiet night and we enjoyed a great meal starting with the Chicken and Avocado Egg Rolls. They are large so we each ate 1 and took one home. (It reheated well).
We both ordered the Steak Frites and subbed mash potatoes for the fries. It was very good, steak was cooked perfect and very tasty.
As we were eating our dinner, the hostess sat a table of 11 people (6 kids) right next to us. If the restaurant had been busy I wouldn't have thought anything about it, but the whole center of the restaurant was empty and this group could easily been moved over 1 row and they were celebrating 2 birthdays and were pretty loud. I talked to the manager and shared my thoughts on the situation. She agreed with me and was going to use it as a teaching moment for a new hostess. She asked if we wanted to move and we said no as we were going to have dessert then leave. She offered to buy our dessert which was very nice. We each ordered the Mini French Silk which was very good.
We'll be back.
Service was a little sketchy. Waiter wasn’t really around.. the place wasn’t busy at all .
The service was ridiculously slow, right off the bat just getting our first contact with the server took forever. Crave is usually good about getting bread and fruit out right away for kids, those were nowhere to be seen. After we were done eating, another wait for the check. Crave has a special place in my heart for personal reasons, but strictly based on today's trip, I would not return.
Service was like you would expect at “Perkins”, not a $40/plate restaurant. Taking plates away without asking and continually interrupting our group is completely unacceptable.
Normally excellent french fries were luke warm as was the asparagus, like it sat under the warmer too long.
The strawberry ice tea was really awful, like it was made with unripe berries. Even Applebees can make it better.
I brought a friend to introduce her to the restaurant and was embarrassed.
Unlikely I will return.
Perfect place to meet up with a friend. Ambience is great food is even better
They booked too many parties at once so it took me 1 hour to get my appetizer and the waiter even admitted he has forgotten to put it in. Yes the manager did comp the little food we actually got but it was the worst experience at Crave I have ever had. It was embarrassing to my party guests.
Excellent service and food. Prices good. Did have trouble finding it and where to park. Next time I will know where exactly to go. Mostly due to road construction.
Ordered GF yet received pasta cooked in gluten cross contaminated water
This Crave is a great location with the Alamo Drafthouse theatre and plenty of shopping around it's a great choice to round out the day for some yummy food. The atmosphere and service were wonderful. It wasn't too loud nor too quiet. The food was excellent - we really love this Crave location!
Birthdays - the server was so great! Brought us bday desserts and did a fabulous job.
The food was horrible it was not worth the money .
My family eats divides our Crave visits between the Mall of America and Woodbury, MN. We have had consistently z great meals at both places until I had dinner with a friend at the Woodbury location. I was pleased to find a vegetarian menu as I am trying to eat more plant based meals. I ordered the Moroccan ‘meat’balls which were good but not great like meals usually are to be found at Crave. The meatballs were also barely warm although the Farro was hot. Now I know how much Farro is. Add 5 meatless meatballs makes me curious how the price tag of $25 is justified. I won’t be ordering this again, and I hope the other vegetarian options are much better because I’d like to try them in the future. Our waitress stopped coming to our table once we received the bill. My friend and I still wanted to talk for a bit. It would have been nice for the waitress to still keep an eye on the table for water at least.
We had a very nice dinner. Waitress was very very good. Asked about an item not on dinner menu and was very pleasantly surprised when waitress came back to our table and said the chef would be glad to make the beef an jus for us. It was excellent. I had the shrimp and scallops. Excellent as well. Very very nice dinner.
Always a good experience when we dine here! Food is tasty. Huge fan of the bamboo bite sushi and the mac n cheese!
We have been pretty loyal to the Crave chain but we felt that the experience this time was not what we have experienced in past visits. The price point versus the quality has started to go down. Entrees are now $25-$35plus which is what we just paid for a gourmet meal at a much fancier downtown Minneapolis spot that far exceeded the quality and service that this restaurant had. Starting to feel like a ‘fancy’ Chili’s with gourmet restaurant pricing. It was extremely loud and appeared that they were understaffed for a full house. Took 25 minutes just to get drinks from the bar. While our server was friendly and knowledgeable she had several large parties she was covering which meant it was a slow experience for each step of the meal. I will still recommend but price point and service are going to have to improve before we decided to head back.
We reserved a table for 15 a couple weeks in advance during high season and 6:30 on a Friday no less. They were happy to have us, called the day prior to inquire about any special needs/boosters or high chairs, and were ready for us! Food was great, as always! Loved the Keto Tuna bowls, the French Silk desserts (think mousse) and the group loved their other dishes as well.
Crave is a beautiful restaurant with an upscale atmosphere. It's a little pricey for everyday dining (for us, anyway) but worth it. Service is attentive with being intrusive. Meals were flavorful and attractive.
Worst sushi that I ever had .
Rice was dry
Imitation crab meat was dry as well the
No flavor at all
It was like
Everything was bland no matter what you ordered
Great food as usual but service was slow and sporadic with our server disappearing for long stretches. By the end of the evening we were nearly the only remaining table and service didn’t improve. Very disappointing given how much we dropped on the meal. Would’ve expected better.
Great outdoor bar! Good service, and food is a great value.
Quality food,service as always
Crave offers something for every taste, and now they have a special section for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free selections that is pretty amazing!
CRAVE was awesome. Great food, great drinks great wait staff. The addition of vegetarian dishes clears the path for my wife to eat at CRAVE as well. We'll definitely add CRAVE back in to the places we visit on a regular basis. Thanks, CRAVE!
I'm told the sushi is very good and the seafood Paella was likely the best I've ever had. They have a great bar and the bartenders know how to mix classic drinks as well. Try it, it's a great place
Had apps tonite.lettuce wraps , smoked fish tacos and bamboo roll and not only was it a good combo but it was presented well, the food was fantastic!
Excellent food quality and service!! Highly recommend!
Wonderful changes to the menu that now offer many vegan options.
Great food.... Great service.. Restaurant very loud
We go there for happy hour a lot, it took forever to get our first round of wine then we order our food in the server never came back until two minutes after six, and told us we could not get another happy hour wine.
Good was excellent and the service was wonderful!
It was a little loud, but other than that, it was great!
Our waitress came by to take our order and then never came back to ask how our food was. A different person gave us our food and another person gave us our check. The food was good but that’s it.
This place is amazing. It’s a wonderful for a nice easy date. Food always exceeds my standards and the service is always very nice even when it’s get pretty busy.
Great food, great service. It was very noisy and hard to visit, but everything else was GREAT!
Best food in Woodbury
Not too loud like other “taverns” in town. 👍
This place takes reservations, unlike other “grills” 😉
I’ve been to this location before but this was the first time I wasn’t satisfied with my order and it was my birthday☹️ I probably should have gotten what my boyfriend had (steak frites) but I wanted something lighter. I ordered the pomegranate molasses salmon. The salmon was cooked properly BUT A- the waiter’s description made it sound like the salmon was glazed which would have made it better and B- the Brussel sprouts were flavorless. I ate the potatoes and asked for extra pomegranate sauce to take home with my leftovers so I could reduce it and glaze it over the salmon lol. We did enjoy the birthday treat 😊
