   My wife and went for dinner on Mother's Day. The reservation system was flawless. Emily, our waitress, was there when we needed her but did not hover over us nor rush us. We shared a Caeser's side salad that was so large we took the rest home. We each ordered the lamb steak for our main course. It was a large thick portion similar to a beef filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection. But once again, we had enough left over for another meal. The aoli for dipping the patates frites was so good we asked to take that leftover home as well. We shared a cheesecake for desert. It did not disappoint either. This was not our first visit to Cotton and it will not be our last. The owner Jeff Paige has a good thing going in his historic mill bldg.

   Excellent as usual. Food and service were fabulous. Always have a good meal. Only thing I would say is to add some sort of chocolate to the dessert menu - would have had a dessert if there was one.

   We had a Mother’s Day lunch. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. I had the grilled scallops over sweet potatoes with bacon and corn. Oh my god, it was to die for. My husband had the lobster raviolis. They were so good as well! We brought carrot cake and cheesecake home. Our server Brian was wonderful. We can’t believe it took us so long to finally make it here. This was our second visit and it was even better than our first. Cotton has definitely stood the test of time!

   We eat often at cotton and consider it the best restaurant in Manchester! Service is top notch, the cocktails are delicious, and the food is always outstanding. We tend to order the same food when we visit because our choices are that superb! We always choose cotton for our special family celebrations or just a Saturday date night! Love it. Lori smith

   Cotton is always a solid experience. Great food, drinks and the service is perfect.

   Had a great experience at Cotton. Very clean . Excellent staff. Food and Drinks ,, absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back !

   Immediately loved the vibe as we entered this well appointed hot spot and rightly so as the food was delicious. The hostess was more than accommodating when I requested to sit at the bar versus using the table reservation. It did strike me that while the restaurant was full the bar was nearly empty-weird. Anyway, we first shared a classic wedge salad with blue cheese and bacon bits. Sure its a simple dish but I believe a truly talented chef can make the simple special. Heres how: the blue cheese dressing was delicious, the sharpness of the cheese was beautifully balanced with the smoothness of the dressing. The bacon bits were of course real, as opposed to chewy pieces of salt that many restaurants throw on, they were perfectly churchy and the smokiness just added to the deliciousness of the dish. Apropos or not the dish was returned clean. We then shared a Delmonico steak. The outside char, perfect, cooked medium rare, perfect, spiced, perfect, and the mushroom sauce we ordered couldn’t have been a better complement, never overpowering the taste of the delicious meat. Every bite resonated with my taste buds, even the fat (not that I ate all of if 😉) was just perfect. If the story ended there it would have been a ten out of ten night. But, it didn’t, and here I return to the weird part. Before, I spill my thoughts, I want you to know that I worked as a waiter in NYC, so I get the service industry. As we approached the bar, the tender did not acknowledge us at all. No good evening, no hello, no EYE CONTACT and it continued this way throughout the meal, him being extremely difficult and dismissive EX: Me - is there okra in the jambalaya? Bartender: well it depends how its made. Everything he could do to make our experience unpleasant, he did, stalling, walking past us over and over as we were looking at him and trying to get his attention. It was the worst dinning service of my life - no wonder the bar is empty. Pretentiousness not needed or appreciated. Sorry!

    First time at Cotton. Everything was great, steaks were cooked perfectly, appetizers were yummy, drinks were terrific. Service was top notch. Will add this to our dining rotation. Can’t wait to come back.
