Appears to be a romantic atmosphere, second worst meal of our lives. Also, service was not friendly. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary- it will definitely be memorable.

Marriott hotel food. Some servers appeared to be attentive, unfortunately ours was not and really appeared to not want to be there. Convenient if you are staying at the hotel but don’t go out of your way to eat here.

It would’ve been a very pleasant experience except for the loud rude people next to us she thought everyone in the restaurant should hear their conversation. It not only bothered us we noticed another table having the waitress move all of their food and everything to the opposite side of the room. It did not make for a very romantic 41st anniversary. Use your inside voice!

The food was excellent, tasty but not over seasoned. Waiter was professionally personable. The restaurant was too noisy for the caliber of cuisine and ambiance, but I don’t know how to get the diners to enjoy the ambiance without yelling at each other across their table. Also, too much noise from the bar.

If having a nice restaurant experience seating should be away from the lobby. Also not having a host there was confusing. Having to walk up to a server to ask where I can sit or to be seated not a good experience for a high end hotel. Food was excellent. The Spanish tomato bisque was the best I have ever had!! Lamb chops seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Filet was seasoned perfect. Both Steak demi and lamb demi were phenomenal. I would come back but if seating is only around the bar I would go elsewhere.

The food was delicious. We were vegan and the chef prepared an amazing meal fir us. The bar was was the most fun with an extraordinary piano player that got the whole bar singing. An evening I’ll never forget. Talent was remarkable! Just an awesome night

Pants really not necessary. We arrived dressed according to what we read here. The man next to us wore shorts and shower shoes. A whole table featured men who didn’t bother to doff their baseball caps.

We were a little irked but thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was on point.

Food and service was fantastic. The restaurant is nice but not too fancy. Price is higher because it’s inside the hotel but that’s to be expected. Espresso martini was amazing as well.

Beautiful restaurant, but the bar/lounge is area way too close and very loud for the ambience level expected of such a dining venue and to support the high price point. Food was delicious, albeit smallish portions. Service was above par but the space could really use a refresh and good sound buffer.

Upon arrival, Sir Patrick Connor greeted us & proceeded to make us feel comfortable. Once Sir Patrick Connor told us what to expect, Sir Patrick Connor was on point. Not only was Sir Patrick Connor's suggestions exactly what we wanted, it was better. Sir Patrick Connor hit the nail on the head. We hate kale & Brussels sprouts & he said no problem & Sir Patrick Connor was correct! No! Problem! Deeeeelicious food & fantastic service from Sir Patrick Connor & company!

Great experience. First visit, very nice. Took us in early (had reservations). Great service, very attentive, knowledgeable staff. Food was great. Crab Benedict and crime brûlée French toast. Great Mother’s Day experience for my wife. Would do it again.

Beware, I was charged a separate $8.52 charge. The manager guessed that our waiter made a mistake. Guessed?
I had already left a 20% tip to the waiter, they billed separately from the dinner bill. When I inquired about the third charge, the manager said he would have it removed. 2 full days later, it remains. This should be very concerning, almost 9$ quietly added on every credit card is a lot of theft.
Also, the waiter was informed that there was a gluten-free guest yet, he left bread in front of the gluten-free guest. He finally removed it the second time he was asked.

We had reservations for Easter dinner and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely wonderful, the chef was amazing. From the bisque to the duck, 5 stars all around. We had a new service who didn’t know much or tend to us but was still a great evening! Looking forward to returning in future!

Easter Brunch at the Costa Brava Restaurant in The Casa Monica Resort Hotel was the best experience that I have had and with my guests. The chef featured a 5 course prix fix menu with versatile and great choices for each course. The dessert bar was fabulous and very tasty. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was elegant. My compliments to the managers, staff, chefs (and the Easter Bunny) for a wonderful time.

When we checked in the manager (I believe) asked if we would sit in the bar dining area because they overbooked. He pointed to the area and it was dark and not very Easter Holiday friendly. No one else was sitting in that area. He offered to buy us a round of drinks for the trouble. It definitely wasn’t worth that for the price of the dining experience. We declined and he understood and we waited for a table in the restaurant. It was beautifully set for Easter. We were so happy we waited. Everything was perfect. The seating, the serve staff, the length of time between courses wasn’t rushed, the food was impeccable and the martini was amazing! It was all perfect and worth every penny! Thank you! ps. When we left the bar dining area was full and I’m sure they weren’t given a choice in the matter for seating. I think that area isn’t a great experience for a high dollar event. People really don’t want to have Easter brunch paying $75 per person next to a bar.

This was our third visit to Costa Brava. Dined today for Easter Brunch and it was our anniversary. The ambiance is elegant and a little exotic. We had the set Easter 5 course brunch for $75 per person. The choices seemed nice. The first issue was that my husband requested to have 2 of the third course (soup and salad) instead of the second course offering of quiche. All of the varieties were made with cheese which he cannot eat. The waiter came back and said the chef could not do the cup of soup instead of a quiche. We had been seated for almost 30 minutes before we were brought the first course of breads and pastry. When they arrived they were ice cold. We got our second and third courses. Then it was a long delay for our main entree. We had been seated for an hour and a half. My husband’s food was not hot and my steak was over cooked and very fatty. A couple seated next to us requested their check before their entree even arrived. When they got their food, they are quickly and left. A 20% gratuity was automatically included. For two of us with brunch and some Prosecco the tab was $247. The most expensive meal we had eaten all weekend and the worst. This could have been lovely but the execution was lacking. Slow service. Lack of consideration for dietary needs and food that should have been good but wasn’t. We were disappointed as we have really enjoyed Costa Brava on previous visits and expected a special anniversary brunch

The food was amazing and the staff was kind and informative. I highly recommend this restaurant for adults. This is not a restaurant for small children. We had a family with a small child that ran around, jumped on the bench seating and was disruptive to other patrons. I highly encourage parents to not bring their children. There are plenty of kid friendly restaurants in St. Augustine

Fancy tasteful dining room - kind of a 1920’s vibe but with modern seating and food.
Waiter Martin was charming and friendly.
Florida little necks with avocado shishito sauce was bangin’. Bronzino and beef tenderloin also good.
